Rhodes is 21 and got a great future but sharps only 25 and knows the league. Sharp for me I've followed him since scunthorpe seen him play loads and he's a steal at anything under 3.5m

Sounds a bit stalkerish :ph34r::P

Does anyone reckon that we will have someone in for the forest game?

Unlikely, suspect we may have someone in before the home game against Barnsley

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11740/7412206/Clark-welcomes-Rhodes-reports

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark wants to see more speculation over the future of star striker Jordan Rhodes throughout the January transfer window.

The in-form Terriers frontman is attracting interest from teams in the Championship and Premier League after bagging 22 goals in 23 appearances for the League One side this season.

West Ham have already seen an initial approach rejected by the Galpharm Stadium outfit, who continue to insist that the talented 21-year-old is not for sale.

Many managers react with fury when their key men are linked with a move away, but Clark has taken the opposite stance and believes the Scotland international is thriving in the spotlight.

"I don't know if he has taken any notice of it, but he is getting better and better with each game. His overall game has been superb, not just the goals, his hold-up play, his movement," Clark told Sky Sports News.

"I know, Jordan knows, the owner knows and everyone inside the football club knows that come February 1st he will be our player."

Lee ClarkQuotes of the week

Keep it going

"If he is seeing the speculation, he probably is as it's in the media, I think it's given him a boost and why not?

"As a young player, when you see these clubs from the Premier League who have got top-quality managers being interested in you and talking about figures into the millions, it can only give you confidence and Jordan is using it in the right way and we are benefiting as a team.

"Keep it going, I say. Keep it going every day.

"I know, Jordan knows, the owner knows and everyone inside the football club knows that come February 1st he will be our player.

"If we are getting the benefits because he is full of confidence, then all well and good."

There's a post on twitter saying Simon Cox is considering his future. NP wanted him before.

Thoughts?

He hasn't really done anything since leaving league 1. It would be a gamble.

Who is Now_Football. Cos we all knew this already. He seems a bit late on the news.

Seems he justs relays info from other people so you don't have to follow about 6000 people. Doesn't claim to be in the know!
