Puma kit next season

After the debacle of poor quality Burrda shirts this season and constant returns, rumours are doing the rounds that the contract has been torn up and we'll be having a Puma kit from next season.

Not sure what to make of it to be fair, they have some beauties but also some horror shows. Look at Cardiff's frankly hideous black and yellow number for an example of where it can go wrong.

That said, Tottenham's home kit is a beauty. Not to mention some of the shirts on display at the African Cup of Nations at the moment, which is very Puma dominated.

The Burrda contract was only ever for two seasons anyway, it was only due to run to the end of this season, so not need to tear up any contracts.

I asked the guy in the megastore today if the rumours about Puma were true, he said he didn't know, but looked rather sheepish, so I kinda took that as a yes

Love the Spurs shirt - very retro & looks awesome. Would love it if we had something similar.

Was just going to say the same thing. Agree with you.

I was only thinking the other day its surely time for the annual rumoured Adidas or Nike kit thread but the rumour is Puma this year.

Well that will be down to the respective owners of the clubs not puma's fault.

Puma will submit a number of design's colours will be sorted before design by the club.

So we best hope our owners have a little taste.

Or we could end up with Everton pink Brighton black and snot green or even covscum shitty brown.

True, I can see why they've gone for black and yellow because of their Welsh identity but the design was rank. Somebody tripped up there, presumably the club as you say.

Coventry's brown kit did make sense because that was a classic kit for them back in the day, it'd be like us reintroducing one of these beauties.

I hope this is true I'm so fed up of us having bad kit manufacturers we never have a good 1 fox leisure has probably been the best since I've been a Leicester fan is there some truth behind this rumour though or is it just wishful thinking? I like the look of our current kit but the quality and fit is one of the worst I've seen especially in the sleeves.

I was thinking the other day does having a decent kit or crap kit affect the teams performance? the season we had the worst kit ever the Jako Topps Tiles 1 was the season we were relegated to league 1? Think the Owners should take this into account when making the decision lol

We were also promoted to the Championship in the very same kit :P:thumbup:

I think this year's shirts look quality on the players, I haven't bought one so can't comment on the quality of the product, though. Hopefully the owners throw some money Puma's way so we don't wind up with a template.

I think we've gotten very lucky with the sponsor, it's not too gaudy or over the top.

Haha I knew I was going to get that response! lol
