beemeroo Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 We were also promoted to the Championship in the very same kit The year we were promoted back to the Championship also saw our lowest ever league position!

Bryn Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 I hope it's not basically that standard Puma kit like Spurs have in blue and white, it'll look shit. Otherwise they make great looking kits.
FrankieADZ Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 This 1 is good quite like that style JUst hope if/when the kit comes out its a simple classic design,
gazfox9 Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Anything has to be better than this seasons effort for quality. I know they normally like to cycle a kit for two seasons, but mine looks like I've had it that long already! I'll be happy to sacrifice a season if it means getting a decent replacement.
Jace Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Is Ashley still on here who made all those decent kit templates last season??? We need some new 1s!
Webbo Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 I bought my shirt last July in the belief that it would be our shirt for 2 seasons. I'll be pissed off if it's a different design next season.
Callabinho Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Burrda have been poor, even though this season's shirts is nice, It falls apart! Ive had two home shirts and two away shirts returned! Puma will garuntee a quality shirt, that hopefully wont dissolve in the wash!

Stevosevic Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Anyone heard any news on this? End of the season is fast approaching and it seems certain we have a new kit next year.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 After the debacle of poor quality Burrda shirts this season and constant returns, rumours are doing the rounds that the contract has been torn up and we'll be having a Puma kit from next season. Not sure what to make of it to be fair, they have some beauties but also some horror shows. Look at Cardiff's frankly hideous black and yellow number for an example of where it can go wrong. That said, Tottenham's home kit is a beauty. Not to mention some of the shirts on display at the African Cup of Nations at the moment, which is very Puma dominated. I like that kit
FrankieADZ Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Anyone heard any news on this?End of the season is fast approaching and it seems certain we have a new kit next year. we don't normally hear/see anything until the last home game of the season regarding new home kits tbf. Sent via TimeTravelBacon
Lobsterboyuk Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 The burrda gear is dogshit in terms of quality Bit troubled by this talk of slim fit - not a good look for me
AyewJoking Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Who actually decides on the design of a kit, the club or do they just let the manufacturer have a go?
Matt Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 A shirt is another thing I won't be buying from the club if they are of a similar poor quality next season. Bought one this year took the first one back because the Burrda logo was falling off, a second one because letters falling off where the sponsor is, all I wouldn't be too bothered about as I would rather not be sponsoring Burrda or King Power but when it makes the shirt look rubbish and you can see where lets/logo's have been it's not very good, the shirt i've had since those 2 I took back has been ok up until recently when letters from the sponsor again are almost peeling off.

The joke is my shirt from about 14 years ago is still all intact and as a kid I would play football in it at least once a week
Guest Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Anyone heard any news on this? End of the season is fast approaching and it seems certain we have a new kit next year. Seeing as they haven't released ST prices, the kits are the last thing on my list of important things for next season. With regards to manufacturers, it's a point that has been made before, but one that has largely been ignored. We aren't a big enough club to attract the big name kit manufacturers. If we go down this route, it'll be a kit that will most likely be straight out of a catalogue. Too much emphasis is on the name, not the look. Would fans rather have a Puma/Adidas/Nike kit that a Sunday league team could have, or risk it with a smaller manufacturer who will design a bespoke kit? And not charge the club for it? Because that's the other thing to consider. Having a 'name' kit will cost City, whereas the cost to the club is next to nothing with a smaller name. Having said that, it may well be that the quality of the kit has been picked up upon by those that run the club. Maybe Top will be the one to say, "yes, let's go with the cool, retro Puma kit, as I could do with a giggle at all the moobs on display, mwahahaha".
HEGGSY Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Puma shirts are beaut.I'll be really happy if we get them.
