HEGGSY Posted 22 March 2012 Posted 22 March 2012 It's only a "fans kit" it won't be worn at all. I can't be arsed to dig out a photo but the actual kit has just been released and it's much better than that. It's on the previous page Finners.
AyewJoking Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Should really have kept it simple. That said, it might not be that moronic a purchase. It's the kind of shirt that could become a collector's item in years to come as I think it'll be a while before there's another Great Britain national football team. I was thinking that but its still £40 and maybe in 100 years your great grandson can flog it on ebay for twice the price.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 This one .... This (as I discovered yesterday) is the "Official Supporters Kit" released a few months ago and I nearly bought it, assuming that "supporters kit" was another way of saying "replica kit". Apparantly not, it's just a t-shit (an expensive one too) and the kit released last week with all of the other Olympic kits will be the one played in. I would be ****ing fuming if I had already forked out for this. What an absolute disgrace and once again, British football fans being treated like shit. That said, the actual kit looks a lot better!

HEGGSY Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Remind me, why we (Team GB) would need an away kit at our home Olympics?....
MC Prussian Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Remind me, why we (Team GB) would need an away kit at our home Olympics?.... Clash of colours, perhaps?
Raw Dykes Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Clash of colours, perhaps? I think Heggsy's point was that we'll always be the home side at the London Olympics.
marko Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Remind me, why we (Team GB) would need an away kit at our home Olympics?.... £££££
Guest Bilo Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 Depends on whether or not we're at home 'on paper,' the host nation often needs a change strip in the WC or EC.
HEGGSY Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 I think Heggsy's point was that we'll always be the home side at the London Olympics. Exactly this.
AyewJoking Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 unrealted kind of but in the milan v barca champions league quarter final 1st leg, why were milan (the home team) playing in white?
leicesterisme Posted 4 April 2012 Posted 4 April 2012 unrealted kind of but in the milan v barca champions league quarter final 1st leg, why were milan (the home team) playing in white? I think they wore it because they think it brings them good luck and Barca's home kit is obviously red and blue and their away is Black, so AC offered to play in white so there wouldn't be a kit clash. I think thats right.

HEGGSY Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Spain Away, Real Madrid home and AC Milan home. Spain away has already been officially released, so the others seem to be the real deal...
Uncle Phil Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Ipswich: I like how they're actually in front of a tractor and that the kit doesn't seem to fit any of them except the GK. Might be my boozy eyes, but that photo just doesn't look right.
Daggers Posted 5 April 2012 Posted 5 April 2012 Ipswich: Everything about these pictures sums up how pointless 'new kit launches' really are. Now if I could see what tractor it is I might be a bit more excited.

Ozwin Posted 6 April 2012 Posted 6 April 2012 You'd find Sunday league teams in better fitted shirts than that.
