Ian have you ever realised that you slightly miss count yards or exaggerate the distance some goals are scored from?

Example: against palace you claimed gallys to be 40 yards when it was around 35.

David nugent vs bristol at home you claimed it to be a 35 yarder when it was around 25.

nugent vs portsmouth away you claimed it to be around 30 yards if i remember correctly it was around 22 yards.

do you look back and think i may have got that wrong?

Thoughts? appreciated.

Over the past couple of games we've had, well not the greatest referees in the world, but do you think the standard of refereeing is declining, or are just able to spot more mistakes due to the technology in the game nowadays?

Hi Ian.

Just donated £2. I don't have a question but I just want to thank yourself and Alan Young for doing a great job on the radio.

I think your both great ambassadors to the club (along with our beloved Birch).

The only thing our club is lacking is promotion so lets hope for the best.

Ian, I was going to ask why you warn people away from message boards, but having just read this thread I dont think I need to any more!

I've enjoyed your commentaries with Young of late.

Good luck with the Marathon.

Thank s pal, I'm very lucky and I know that. The auction idea is a good one, BBC and comps are tough to get through the red tape

Ok, as a season ticket holder I'm quite willing to share a match day experience with you and give a balanced view both on the radio and on here!!! Also ask youngy if he 'sung' on the the single 'champions we are' after we won 2nd division title with Jock, I have a copy if he did!!!
