Grayfox Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Can anyone tell me what is happening with Vassell and Johnson, they seem to be forgotten men atm? Thanks in advance.
Leicester Lass Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Vassell injured. Johnson not match fit.
FrankieADZ Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Vassell is injured and out for the season.
MrSpaM Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Can anyone tell me what is happening with Vassel and Johnson, they seem to be forgotten men atm? Thanks in advance. Vassel has a long term injury, and Johnson has a long term eating problem
cc_star Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Can anyone tell me what is happening with Vassell and Johnson, they seem to be forgotten men atm? Thanks in advance. Vassell out for the season Johnson...champion pie & cake eater? doesn't appear to be injured just unfit... A great use of a Premiership standard wage
Grayfox Posted 10 February 2012 Author Posted 10 February 2012 Thanks for replies, I sympathize with the eating problem. GF
polarbear Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Thanks for replies, I sympathize with the eating problem. GF Michael Johnson protocol for breakfast each day would make some reading! hopefully he reads this and contributes
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 The injury updaes on our team this season has been shocking and I blame the club/OS for not keeping us up to date. No one really knows how King or Schlupp are doing, and I'd like to know if Vassell is doing well in terms of him slowly recovering.
wellyfox Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Why is johnson still on our books. And why the fvck have we not just sent him back?? or do our owners just love to throw it away? If so unlike Johnson I have a real need for it atm any chance TOP PLSE
Fox92 Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Why is johnson still on our books. And why the fvck have we not just sent him back?? or do our owners just love to throw it away? The owners will be paying his wages obviously, but surely it has nothing to do with them whether he stays or leaves because they are not in charge of team selection. He will never be fit to play, and we are probably paying his wages, which will be high. So, it is pointless having him here unless Nigel thinks he will get fit and provide back up to the team?
Langston Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 I think we could actually do with Vas at the minute, very useful player to have about.

dannythefox Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 Probably in the loan agreement if he gets injured if our problem otherwise I'm sure he would of gone back because he's been a waste of money and never fit.
Jace Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 If Sven brought in Johnson on a year long loan deal without a cancellation clause he has made a major cock up!

If there is any truth in the fact that Johnson's lack of fitness is due to poor diet or lack of effort in training, then surely there's some mechanism whereby he could be repeatedly fined for lack of effort. I not, there should be with any player imo.

Fox92 Posted 10 February 2012 Posted 10 February 2012 I think we could actually do with Vas at the minute, very useful player to have about. I have said this since he joined, yet people disagreed with me. Vassell has been consistant since signing, and he is better than both Dyer and especially Gallaghr. If Sven brought in Johnson on a year long loan deal without a cancellation clause he has made a major cock up! Won't be his only one then... The owners? That's generally not how financing clubs works. I don't know, I haven't got a club about the financial side. It wasn't the overall point of my post like.
thewarmanator Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 If Sven brought in Johnson on a year long loan deal without a cancellation clause he has made a major cock up! Certainly isn't the only one he made
muzzy1981 Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 If Sven brought in Johnson on a year long loan deal without a cancellation clause he has made a major cock up! You may be right on this, but what i'm hoping is that Nige will get him to fulfil his potential and stake a claim, he's clearly got the ability.
mrmagoomc4 Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 johnson when match fit and playing for man city under sven looked like a real quality player there was even talk of an england call up but since the injury he sustained there clearly is not something quite right with him its a real shame as i believe he had a real talent.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 I think Johnno must be suffering from Alzheimer's and bulimia. He seems to binge then forgets to vomit...
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 If Sven brought in Johnson on a year long loan deal without a cancellation clause he has made a major cock up! I wonder sometimes whether Sven had a transfer policy at all, or just simply went onto Football Manager and randomly chose some targets. Ball and Johnno have been quality signings...
Happy Fox Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Vassell is the only one I would keep if we are in the championship next season put it this way he is much better proposition on the wing than Dyer.
