Tielemans63 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I agree we struggle against physically strong / tall strikers - we are easily dominated. I guess that's why Morgan was brought in - I'd expect him to replace St Ledger in the next game. I'm not saying he should, I just think that's what Nige will do.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Spent £400 on tickets this season, and only been disappointed. I'll have a season ticket next season, and will probably go to a majority of the away games cause I love my club, but I am disappointed, majorly disappointed
Libertine Dream Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Wish more people would see this. Overrated and his positioning is woeful. Agreed
Bert Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Dont be fooled by the players/management coming out saying it was a foul for their third. The defending simply wasn't good enough.
fox ache Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Depressed. We could concentrate on the cup, but we can only do that til Saturday night. We could concentrate on next season, but there's not much that convinces me we'll be any better then. We could concentrate on helping get Coventry and Forest relegated, but Portsmouth will get a 10 point deduction and fvck that up. Maybe God is just telling me to give up on football. SUICIDE PACT !!!!!!
foxsake123 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 well once again time to look forward to next season as this one is dead and buried.
Spiritwalker Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Stringer "here comes Steve Howard, don't be suprised if he becomes the hero tonight." Me " we're focked."
tickler28 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Lose Saturday and season over. Tbh do we really think even if we pull off shock Saturday we have any hope of going all the way. At least we're not going down!?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Wish more people would see this. Overrated and his positioning is woeful. I obviously havent seen the goals tonight but was todl earlier that Peltier was possibly at fault for one?? He has cost us a few goals this season, very poor defensively and is never ever in the correct position and its costing. He doesnt do enough to defend sometimes which is his main priority.
Libertine Dream Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Dont be fooled by the players/management coming out saying it was a foul for their third. The defending simply wasn't good enough. Still if it's a foul it's a foul, no excuse for the defending though.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 What the f**k is it with Leicester. We beat the top teams and lose to the lower league ones every sodding time. Are we so naive that we think we'll walk all over the shitty teams and instead end up getting owned by them. Im sick and tired of our inconsistent performances! No back to back league wins for a year is a joke. We are a shambles and a complete laughing stock! Season over!
Fox1651 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Dont be fooled by the players/management coming out saying it was a foul for their third. The defending simply wasn't good enough. Not convinced by their lame excuses anymore, just not good enough
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Lose Saturday and season over. Tbh do we really think even if we pull off shock Saturday we have any hope of going all the way. At least we're not going down!? only just, not impossible
Tielemans63 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Stringer "here comes Steve Howard, don't be suprised if he becomes the hero tonight" Surprised? I'd die of shock.
fox ache Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Just wait till the players gel.......................................Get Capello !!!!!!!
Captain... Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I wish we were shite, I could live with us being shite, I have watched us be shite before and survived. What is killing me is the fact that we can beat anyone in this league and we can dominate good teams, we did 3 days ago. This inconsistency is murder, it is not the defeats that hurt it is the hope before hand.
dave the caveman Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Players motivate themselves for the big games. Pearson fails to do his job.
Collymore Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 This advert on the OP's post is funny (I hope its not intelligent advetising that looks at your browsing history )
jonlcfc1990 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Still not happy about losing but Fvck it we will go and best Norwich knowing our run. I really don't get the people who come on here only when we lose? All the threads about positive action atmosphere and season progression etc and then there's people who come on throwing names around like Warnock macarthy "Sven did this" "Sven did that" suck it up and get behind the team
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Very disappointing. Season over. I just hope that we stick with Pearson, give him the rest of the season and the summer to sort it out because given time I think he'll get it right. He's tried to do it in January with some promising looking signings such as Drinkwater, Marshall and Morgan but let's face it he had a big job on. People might harp on about how many points we were off the play-offs when Sven was sacked but I think, in hindsight, Sven left us with a squad that only he could manage in many ways. Lots of players we have are ones that came because they wanted to play for him, players that would fit his style of play but not Pearson's. And yet even with that squad Sven didn't get it right. We're lumbered with Mills, Danns, Peltier (started well, faded recently) and Beckford who all aren't quite good enough - especially considering the financial outlay to acquire them. The positive is that Pearson's strong enough to completely overhaul it, to stamp his mark and his authority on the thing. There have been glimpses of it already (Palace and Cardiff etc) but there was just too much to be done in one mid-season transfer window. Tonight's the reality check and it's time to get real. Danns isn't good enough, Beckford's not quite at it in this team and we're going nowhere with a waster like Matt Mills wearing the armband.
The Padster Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I'm sure they'd swap that stat for our average (but better than their) league position I'm sure they would, but the fact is, one of the most shite teams in the league has won back to back and we haven't in a year. a whole year. I am truly disgusted with that.
tickler28 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Bit of consistency and we could be where Blackpool are.....when we beat them 3-0 weren't we above them. Football sucks this year just glad when man utd lose!
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 This advert on the OP's post is funny (I hope its not intelligent advetising that looks at your browsing history ) Im more interested in seeing the Audi A6 Saloon 2.7 TDI that your buying me for valentines day!
lcfcadam Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Still not happy about losing but Fvck it we will go and best Norwich knowing our run. In that you're spot on, I really wouldn't be surprised at all to see us go and beat Norwich now. In some ways it would almost be a bit annoying, if you catch my drift...
