crisp packet Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 We really need to get this monkey off our back !!! A foooookin year!!!
Donut Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 The usual spiel from Nugent about ''Oh well we have to beat teams like Watford'' ''We need to put a run together to climb up this league'' How about get together lads, all of you, and actually DO what youre saying
acooling08 Posted 14 February 2012 Author Posted 14 February 2012 Postitives: - Forest are deeper in the shit - Nugent scored again - We kept on to the end and should have had a penalty to make it 3-3 I honestly can't think of any others
Fjällräven Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Home pill, away pill and the match following a win pill. Use them two weeks in advance. Timing won’t be a problem, because we are so f**king predictable.
Collymore Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Im more interested in seeing the Audi A6 Saloon 2.7 TDI that your buying me for valentines day! It's for my dogging exploits, plenty of room
cc_star Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 We have Beckford for the cup Wish we had him for the league, am mobile so can't see his 'run-rate' but I do know it is absolutely appalling.
foxfanazer Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Ok so more than likely thats our season over but we can still use this season to improve things ready for next season. On the plus side nugent and beckford partnership is looking good now. We need to build a midfield around drinkwater in the summer and we have to find a way of. Cutting out these defensive errors. Gutted we can't get some consistency going but keep the faith
The Padster Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 This advert on the OP's post is funny (I hope its not intelligent advetising that looks at your browsing history ) Just to let you know Colly, that is an advert targeted at you. Only comes up when you not signed in, not in OPs post. So, what's your browsing history?!
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Wish we had him for the league, am mobile so can't see his 'run-rate' but I do know it is absolutely appalling. well he could get us something in the Cup from this shambolic season
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 The most disgusting thing is, Cov have managed back to back wins.
Kitchandro Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Very disappointing. Season over. I just hope that we stick with Pearson, give him the rest of the season and the summer to sort it out because given time I think he'll get it right. He's tried to do it in January with some promising looking signings such as Drinkwater, Marshall and Morgan but let's face it he had a big job on. People might harp on about how many points we were off the play-offs when Sven was sacked but I think, in hindsight, Sven left us with a squad that only he could manage in many ways. Lots of players we have are ones that came because they wanted to play for him, players that would fit his style of play but not Pearson's. And yet even with that squad Sven didn't get it right. We're lumbered with Mills, Danns, Peltier (started well, faded recently) and Beckford who all aren't quite good enough - especially considering the financial outlay to acquire them. The positive is that Pearson's strong enough to completely overhaul it, to stamp his mark and his authority on the thing. There have been glimpses of it already (Palace and Cardiff etc) but there was just too much to be done in one mid-season transfer window. Tonight's the reality check and it's time to get real. Danns isn't good enough, Beckford's not quite at it in this team and we're going nowhere with a waster like Matt Mills wearing the armband. The problem I have is I don't expect him to replace these players, nor Dyer, who needs to be shipped out asap. Not many of our players are good enough for a real promotion challenge. Surely he can see how bad some of our players are? Why is he still playing Dyer and why is he still bringing on Howard? It's ridiculous. I do hope he gets as long as Sven put he's got to pull his finger out quickly. I'm sick to the back teeth of average players when we've spent this much money. I'm having to come to terms with the fact that I'll probably never see an entertaining Leicester team who takes the league by storm. I mean if we couldn't take our chance this season when can we?
leicesterisme Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I kinda get the feeling from this interview that he's gone fvcking ape shit in that dressing room.
Larry_LCFC Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 serous repercusions for anyone saying the season is over according to NP. Half of foxestalk are about to get killed in their sleep. Nice knowing you guys!
Happy Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 If he doesn't get rid of any of the deadwood ( Dyer, Wellens, Howard etc) come the summer he is a gonner.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 It amazes me how a team that, let's face it, completely controlled the game against a very good Cardiff side, can then go and concede three against a team that has 'John Eustace' as its star player.. It's bizarre and bewildering. However, I reiterate that we have a squad of mainly pretty average players. Mills, Wellens, Gally, Dyer, Peltier, Danns are not gonna get you up. Simply, if they were good enough, this would reflect in our league position. The table cannot lie. I will not be at all surprised to see half of them gone come the summer. I fear some of us may make the journey to Norfolk on Sat to see us get more stuffed than one of their fookin turkeys.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 If he doesn't get rid of any of the deadwood ( Dyer, Wellens, Howard etc) come the summer he is a gonner. the fans will turn, Howard is getting booed as it is
Libertine Dream Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 NP isnt happy...... Too right, 99% correct in what he says, just needs to accept season is over.
kingfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Season over, far too inconsistent and always lose against the lowly sides. Get in a few more loans and give it a fight, but I do believe after tonight we won't reach the play-offs, if we do however I think it is very undeserved the way we have gone about our season. We absolutely dominated Cardiff, now lose against Watford frankly the worst team I have seen us play this season.
Happy Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I just hope a manager whether that is NP or not rips the shit out of this squad for far too long we have had too many under performers and they are holding us back get rid of them ASAP.
Donut Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Stuart Pearson Stuart Pearson was a decent player, played for England, and Man Utd
