ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Mills, Wellens and Gally's out I reckon You wouldn't of wanted Mills out after the Southampton game no doubt
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Mills, Wellens and Gally's out I reckon And Beckford.. Pearson don't like him.. He could be the first out the door IMO.
Happy Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 What the hell is NP on about serious repercussions does he mean himself i.e he will be sacked if he fails to deliver the playoffs or getting rid of the majority of the squad?
foxfanazer Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 And Beckford.. Pearson don't like him.. He could be the first out the door IMO. I'm not saying this in a confrontational way but.....how do you know he doesn't like beckford?
Donut Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Id have to say the players i think that need removing are Peltier, Dyer, Gallagher, Beckford and Howard.
Kitchandro Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Season over, far too inconsistent and always lose against the lowly sides. Get in a few more loans and give it a fight, but I do believe after tonight we won't reach the play-offs, if we do however I think it is very undeserved the way we have gone about our season. We absolutely dominated Cardiff, now lose against Watford frankly the worst team I have seen us play this season. Even if a miracle happened and we went up, we'd still remember this season for being utterly frustrating. And we'd certainly be relegated straight away. I wanted an enjoyable season where we were winning games, playing good football and had a team to be proud of. If we can't have that then fvck it, we don't deserve it. The players don't deserve it.
Guest shearfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 The last 4 games we got a really good 7 points and could have had more if it wasn't for some poor refs. We go to Watford and produce that rubbish... these are the games we have got to win if we are thinking about premier league football.
leicesterisme Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I'm not saying this in a confrontational way but.....how do you know he doesn't like beckford? He dosen't know.
kingfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 From his first appearance against Real Madrid and the Carling Cup game at Rotherham, I knew Matt Mills was going to turn out to be a nightmare signing. He has had the odd class display, but his game is so frustrating and he isn't captain material. He really needs to learn how to pass a ball out of defence, he needs to get a better footballing brain, because all he does is get the ball pass it to St Ledger or lumps it up the field, most of the time goes to nobody or out of play. Matt Mills is frankly overrated, and has been our worst signing this season, like Savage said in the Mercury last month, we have spent far too much on average players. Schmeichel, Konchesky and Nugent are the only one's who deserve real credit, the rest have been poor or far too inconsistent.
accessory Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Id have to say the players i think that need removing are Peltier, Dyer, Gallagher, Beckford and Howard. Keep Peltier, dump Wellens and that wouldn't be a bad shout.

Free Falling Foxes Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Pearson not happy? Well who's bloody fault was that performance? If a team starts that poorly it's down to poor motivation and/or not understanding the tactics. Either way - it's down to the manager
Happy Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Wellens - F**k off Gallagher- F**k off Dyer- F**k off Howard- F**K off Mills- F**k off That is about it as far as players removal I think, NP if these players are still on the books next season you will get sacked do you want that?
The Padster Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Pearson not happy? Well who's bloody fault was that performance? If a team starts that poorly it's down to poor motivation and/or not understanding the tactics. Either way - it's down to the manager Or it's also down to the fact that the vast majority of our team are very distinctly mediocre. So it's only half the managers fault.

If a team starts that poorly it's down to poor motivation and/or not understanding the tactics. Either way - it's down to the manager I see your point and a manager has to take a lot of the blame but there is more to football than that, no sports is really as simple as that.
Ashley Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Can people on this forum tell me why they hate Beckford? He made our two goals tonight.
Donut Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 And i know you could argue its all thats left this season, but i think frankly were pulling the wool over our eyes if were thinking the FA cup is ''important''........it was never important to us this season, all that mattered was the league, and that hasnt changed Whether we beat Norwich or not, we wont win the FA cup so as far as im concerned it is season over
foxfanazer Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Can people on this forum tell me why they hate Beckford? He made our two goals tonight. I was wondering that? This one people are strange Can people on this forum tell me why they hate Beckford? He made our two goals tonight. I was wondering that? Some people are strange
The Padster Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Wellens - F**k off Gallagher- F**k off Dyer- F**k off Howard- F**K off Mills- F**k off Beckford- Maybe F**k off That is about it as far as players removal I think Normally HF, I'd sit here accusing you and others saying things like this of being reactionary and so forth. But I firmly believe that by this point of the season that we should of seen who our shining lights are and who should be shown the door in the summer, and your list is pretty much bang on, although I still have a little faith left in Beckford and Mills.
kingfox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I think you have to include Ledge there, stood by us and is now performing well I really like St Ledger, rate him highly and even when he made his mistake against Bristol City in his first game, I thought he had a different class about him compared to Mills. Despite his mistake I thought St Ledger played well that night, he was passing the ball out of defence very well and his heading always found our players, something Mills fails to do on numerous occasions, but fans didn't really see that side to St Ledger, and ended up slating him for that one mistake. Since Pearson has brought him back in he has been a revelation, I prefer him over Mills anyday. For me Matt Mills is a very overrated player, when we signed him we thought he was going to be the next Steve Walsh, and he was going to be one of the best signings of the season in the Championship. Indeed this isn't the case, he has good defending ability and has put in some very good displays, however like Reading fans said he only plays well while the team is on Sky, and I to be honest I actually think that. Apart from Birmingham, all our games on tv, Mills has played very well in, but when it comes to a game without the camera's being in front of you, he has been very very average, sometimes very very shite. I think the fans have to accept fate now, that a top eight finish might be our best shot. and top six may be pushing it a bit too much.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 I'm not saying this in a confrontational way but.....how do you know he doesn't like beckford? You're right mate, I don't know this for a fact... But body language gives a lot away and some of the faces Pearson makes at Beckford seems clear to see. I would say this.... We can't carry a player who demonstrates flashes of brilliance every so often, coupled with an arrogant, selfish streak and who himself is too inconsistent. What's that now? 3 goals in 20 appearances? This team needs another Nugent. Ie someone who is not flash and cocky but who scores goals on a consistent basis. Beckford is the 'Gally' of the strike force.... And inconsistent brilliance is not what this team needs. It simply won't win us enough football matches. I think Pearson knows this... Of course, there is NO WAY I'm putting all the blame at Beckfords feet... The whole squad has been very average. I'm just making a point about one of our strikers.
