Out Foxed Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 george your trolling is amateur level at best.
FuriousFox46 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Now that's where your wrong Forest and Derby care a great deal about letting us know they don't care about us. They care about not caring about us that much that they bum each other over not caring about us .
jonlcfc1990 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Coventry are a pathetic excuse for a club. You talk about having an inexperianced manager and no money and Boo hoo hoo Other teams manage without money (burnley, Scunthorpe even leeds arfe in no way big spenders) You talk about your manager being inexperianced what about Eddie howe? Only managed Bournemouth had 0% of Championship management and he's doing well. What about Rodgers? Pulis? Premier league experience isn't too good (Brendon with Chelsea) And yet they have both sent teams up into the Prem and look to be staying their for quite a long time. Money isn't everything and experiance isn't all it's cracked up to be if you believe arsenal fans at the minute the reason Coventry are in this mess is all your own dooing so don't come on a LCFC forum looking for sympathy or to anger people because you just end up looking like a loner longing for someone to talk to
darko2k7 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 First of all, 80% of Coventry fans do not see Leicester as rivals, I think was reflected in last years away attendances. 2 weeks before we played you in the league we played Birmingham City, we took 6,300 fans to Birmingham City, to Leicester we took around 1,500. Second of all you didn't bring 7,000, stop lying. It was 5,300. Thirdly, after 10 years of **** all, literally. 10 years of finishes between 15th and 21st in the second tier, how many do you think you would average considering you were bottom of the league for that particular season? Be honest now, considering you averged just 23,000 in your play off season. Right Kithandro, a lot of my posts on here have been a bit of a joke. But honestly, I'd say 70% of Cov fans couldn't care less about Leicester, I'm being 100% honest with you here. O look 10 % less now don't care about us . I think that 10% difference is just you now after this thread .
Fox92 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Anyone know the lyrics to the hate-filled songs we sing about Coventry? We hate Coventry... Or am I alone?
Gold Coast Fox Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 I have a strong dislike for coventry, mainly down to the fact that i cant stand gold coast united, they also play in a sky blue stadium thats half empty every week.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 http://www.footballf...red_Results.pdf Here we are, Georgey Boy. Where are you in Villa and Birmingham's lists exactly? Here we go: http://www.villatalk...ewtopic&t=68171 http://www.heroesand...p?topic=43078.0
SaM 12 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Im not being aggressive in any way shape or form. The 181 tickets thing needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, as of Wednesday last week we'd sold 650 for Forest, we ended up taking 3,500. Coventry fans work in mysterious ways. You took 2663 and thats the official figure you tw@t
jonlcfc1990 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 You took 2663 and thats the official figure you tw@t A cov fan can't count SHOCKER
Guest Bilo Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 My list of clubs I dearly want to see City smash is as follows: 1. Forest 2. Derby 3. Stoke 4. Chelsea 5. Leeds That's about all that register, Coventry aren't even on my radar and never have been. I actually spent a fair bit of my childhood admiring their plucky relegation battles and was disappointed for them when they went down, which I think probably says it all.
RonnieTodger Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 George correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't you take 1,300 to St.Andrews this season? For your "2nd biggest rivals" that is absolutely pathetic. It wasn't on TV either. Oh wait, did you need Marlon King to play, like you need to play Leeds to spark a decent-ish turnout? We also have one of the biggest rugby teams in europe's fans to contend with for weekend games. Leicester Tigers attract more fans than you per week, and a lot of them fans will go to City games when they can, too. What's the Coventry Bees average attendance?
blueharmie Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 the guy dont care but he has nearly 200 posts on this forum? thats well sad mate, infact what saddo would go on a coventry forum and post that much.

I spent years wishing they'd go. Sadly we joined them a year later.
Finnegan Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 You've had our last 10 years, how much would you have in your ground week in week out despite being bottom of the league, come on .... lol but we HAVEN'T had your last ten years because we aren't some tin pot bunch of no marks, haha. Jesus ****-me-sideways Christ. I love these pointless, clutching at straws wind up merchants. "What if?", "what if?", "what it?" What if we were in the champions league!? **** knows, cos we ain't! What if we were a pointless waste of footballing time who hadn't finished in the top six of a league for a bazillion years!? We'd be COVENTRY! **** me.
Ozwin Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Considering we're always banging on about Coventry meaning nothing to us, talking about their bad attendance like some sort of one up is pretty small time.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Here we go: http://www.villatalk...ewtopic&t=68171 http://www.heroesand...p?topic=43078.0 hurr hurr hurr Villa don't know who you are and they even hate us more! Talk about a backfire. You'll soon be playing your rivals Nuneaton borough but they have a bigger fan base than you! Lolzzzz
Leicfox Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 The way I see it. We and Cov really should make it more of a rivalry and make the M69 derby a proper derby. No one cares about Coventry, and were probably in the same boat now. Forest was probably our main rivals years ago but Brian Clough changed that, managing both Derby & Forest, and now both say their not bothered about us. The teams I personally like us to hammer are.. Forest, Derby, Stoke, Blackpool, Leeds, Coventry. In no particular order.

Forest, Derby, Stoke, Blackpool, Leeds, Coventry. In no particular order. You either hate a team or you don't. Most of our fans hate Forest the most, it's as simple as that. Some Leicester fans hate Coventry the most but quite a few don't care about them at all. 'Making' a rivalry is exactly what Forest and Derby did, in an attempt to preserve their former glories and keep themselves famous, and that's why they're confused as to whether they love or hate each other. Without the other one they are nothing clubs which is why I find them a bit embarrassing. We are a big enough club that we can afford to have 3 local derbies and take a good following away at all of them. We don't need to cling. You can't just choose to make a big deal about a rivalry just so you can be known for having a big rivalry with someone, otherwise it's just false and plastic, and a bit pathetic. I'm up for all our local derbies but I can't ever see Coventry being the big one, it never has been and it's more unlikely than ever now with their crowds getting lower and their relegation almost inevitable.
George Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Right I come on here saying Coventry don't class Leicester as rivals yet you all argue the toss about it.... Why would you be bothered? You seem real bitter about it all, rather amusing. . RE us at Forest, the end holds 4,700, I'm intrigued to know where the 2,200 empty seats are. They didn't take into account POTD

You'll soon be playing your rivals Nuneaton borough but they have a bigger fan base than you! Lolzzzz I've never once claimed we have a rivalry with Villa? All I've said is we class them as rivals more than we class you as rivals. I can deal with the fact they couldn't give two ****s about us, seems as though you can't deal with Forest and Derby not caring about you. Interested to see Derby's away following tomorrow ....

George Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Around 2k. ****ing hell, judging by all your droning on here I'd of expected a good 3.5k, poor effort.
