Captain... Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Our biggest game of the season so far for me. Win this and I'll start to think we have a sniff. On a fairly unrelated note, who do people think would go in goal if Schmeichel got injured? My money would be on Nugent... Has to be Howard as the reserve goalie, I can't see any other reason for him being on the bench
Guest ttfn Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Yeh this is what I'm thinking. Not confident but previous results should mean nothing. They are doing badly but on the flipside they really need the points. I seem to remember that we absolutely bossed it at Ashton Gate last year and lost 0-2. We then played terribly at home and won 2-1. Some sort of justice in that I guess.
Ric Flair Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Big game for Danns, he was very poor on Saturday and with Drinkwater back fit he's got to continue to play well. He gives the ball away in dangerous positions far too much for me, so get yer nut down Neil and do the business. I seem to remember that we absolutely bossed it at Ashton Gate last year and lost 0-2. Big game for Marshall too, he has not done badly, but he has not set the world alight, with Gallagher and Drinkwater waiting in the wings and a potentially massive game coming up against a good Reading side. (I say potentially if we lose tonight then the Reading game means nothing)
Kitchandro Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 BTW I don't think we've won a match when I've been viewing the match thread. Just thought I'd let you know
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 BTW I don't think we've won a match when I've been viewing the match thread. Just thought I'd let you know GET OFF
ScouseFox Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Huge win tonight. I can feel it. Not sure whether it'll be a last minute winner or a 4 or 5-0, but it'll be massive for our season. We'll reach the play offs and the FA Cup semis off the back of this. I can feel it!
HEGGSY Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 YOOOOOUUUU BLUUUUUEEEESSSS! 1-3 Beckford, Nuge and SSL C'MON
Captain... Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 BTW I don't think we've won a match when I've been viewing the match thread. Just thought I'd let you know We never win when I go into chat, and it normally buggers up my laptop, so I just avoid it.
whoareyaaa Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 No Mills in the squad surely on his way out.... 0-3 Nugent 2 Beckford 1 C'mon Leicester!!
JonnyBoy Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 this match for me is massive in the sense that if we win we really are in contention for play-offs, if we lose then its season over for me.... just trying to be realistic. I know we don't have to win every game but if we cant string 3 wins together i honesty cant see us being in the top 6 come the end of the season.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 No Mills indeed. If we do have an outside chance of the playoffs these are the games we HAVE to win. A draw won't cut it. Get the job done City. I'll be happy with a 1-0 ugly win.

(I say potentially if we lose tonight then the Reading game means nothing) I don't think it's a big game for Marshall really. He's still finding his feet and will have a few good games with a few not so good ones. When Gally is back fit I expect him to come back in anyway. I think it's a bigger game for Dannsy.. Drinkwater is waiting in the wings.
Kitchandro Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 GET OFF If we start losing I'll close it Better to be safe than sorry, I still maintain that Italy won the 2006 world cup because of my magic ability to conjure them a goal whenever I went to the toilet. True story.

HEGGSY Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 It's my birthday, we WILL win. Hope you've had a good 'un pal Hopefully City can put the icing on the (birthday) cake
lcfcbaby Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Bristol City 0-1 Leicester City (Marshall, 75) For a second I thought we'd scored a goal -.-
Captain... Posted 6 March 2012 Posted 6 March 2012 Head 1-1 Everything else 1-3 Sounds like you're playing for Brizzle tonight, you better not score against us!
