Cecchini1976 Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Not often a young talented midfielder comes available on a free, I think he would be a quality signing. Thought Chelsea treated him a bit harshly, considering Ashley Cole shot someone
Mack Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 He can let off some smoke bombs in our penalty area and we'll have a clean sheet week in week out!
THEFATBASTARD Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 great ! a bit more indiscipline, just what we need, we could end up being the dirty dozen..
paddy Agyemang Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Good player when he played for Barnsley Bring him in
21st Century Fox Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Mills could do with company sitting on the naughty step.
StanSP Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 I don't think so and I don't think Pearson will like him around the club given these latest antics.
AKCJ Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Bring him in ASAP. I said this at the beginning of the season, a quality little player.
Libertine Dream Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 I'd bring him in definitely. Don't understand why because he set off a couple of smoke bombs he becomes a bad influence when in reality what he did was relatively harmless. Footballers do this, in pre season didn't some of our players cut the ends of socks as a joke, its part of team building.

It's not the end of the world that he set off some smoke bombs, but there's barriers and boundaries and I think Jacob has crossed them. I know this is only one incident, but what else might he get up to in future?
Happy Fox Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 He won't come here and what difference would he make to the team is he any better than King, Danns, Wellens and Drinkwater? I don't think he is imo having said that if NP thinks he is worth it then bring him in, but this is speculation isn't it we haven't been linked with him on the other hand we have been linked with Vardy who scored another 2 goals on Saturday and has 35 goals to boot this season.

Thought Chelsea treated him a bit harshly, considering Ashley Cole shot someone Don't know why people keep making that point; Ashley Cole's incident was definitely an accident, this definitely wasn't. The only thing that occurs to me is how much weaponry is around the Chelsea training ground?!?

Jimmy Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 exactly if Mellis was a player they could get multi millions for they wouldn't of sacked him, they wanted rid and he gave them an excuse, bring him in to train for a week or 2 then offer a contract if he fits in

It does sound like he's given them an excuse for offloading him.
Jace Posted 20 March 2012 Posted 20 March 2012 Good thread nice to see something different from something that has already been said and repeated in other threads for once however, I can't help but think this guy is more of a Neil Warnock Leeds United player than a Nigel Pearson Leicester City player
