Leicester_Loyal Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Has anyone ever spoke to the club about a massive flag that we can pass around L1 to J1 or around the KOP? Like Chelsea did when we played them in the end opposite. Just wondering, cheers.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Would be good to do one going from L1 and taking it all around finishing at the west stand and going down the entrance where the shirts go down Doubt it will happen but not fussed if it doesn't happen though
Kitchandro Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 We're too high risk for that. Got to think about health and safety. Really though I bet they wouldn't allow it. What looks better is loads of medium sized flags being waved, but you're not allowed flag poles.

Because at Chelsea they had them, at Brighton they had thousands of them at the start of the season.
Fox92 Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 When the ground is two tier, I like flags and banners hanging down. Think that looks good. The flag poles look mint at Liverpool.
HEGGSY Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 We had one that used to be passed around the Kop iirc. I'm sure it said "Foxes never Quit" or "Keep the Faith".
Ashley Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I can't see why the club just don't give us the Blue home shirt that they have on the pitch to pass over the crowd. Won't exactly get nicked will it.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 They allow flagpoles only when they're controlled by the club. Apparently if the flags are produced by the club, the safety issues evaporate.

I agree. Still don't understand why we have those two shirts on the pitch before kick off anyway. Doesn't add anything because you can't see them unless you're in a helicopter or aircraft.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 25 March 2012 Author Posted 25 March 2012 So has anyone ever actually contacted the club about getting some flags of our own? Or have the club ever produced any? If so, were they a success?
Daggers Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 I still have three flags with poles that they gave us some years ago. And doesn't Fez have the big and medium flags we all bought?
Stand UP... Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Been there, done that, tacky. How is it tacky? it shows passion from the fans and looks awsome especially in the filbert street days of it going around the Kop. Nothing wrong with it if the flag looks decent anyway. Definate should get one in L1 bouncing up and down underneath it would be class!
purpleronnie Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Its weird how we have so much trouble getting flags allowed in, but the OF being one of the most intense derbies in the world are allowed to use them. What I have noticed is in england if flags are given out or fans buy them for a certain game you only see them once, the fans never seem to return with them, in the states they bring them back every game, I've always wondered why? I guess as most fans sit down over here its pretty pointless bringing a flag in.....guess I've just answered my own question.
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Would love to pass one of the big shirts around the stadium
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 25 March 2012 Posted 25 March 2012 Would prefer us to get loads of medium sized flags going all round the ground, something like what most ultrus have!
Leicester_Loyal Posted 25 March 2012 Author Posted 25 March 2012 Don't suppose someone could e-mail the club and ask them about getting some flags for us?
Daggers Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Don't suppose someone could e-mail the club and ask them about getting some flags for us? Away you go then...
Houdini Logic Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 I'll pay extra if we order one in blackout material or thick cotton. This is in no way connected to the couple of fit girls who sit near me...
Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 March 2012 Author Posted 26 March 2012 I've emailed them, I look forward to their reply.
The Doctor Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 I've emailed them, I look forward to their reply. You're not going to like their response, I can pretty much guarantee that.
Dan Posted 26 March 2012 Posted 26 March 2012 Waste of time contacting the club, you'll just end up punching your desk or whatever when they tell you it's a fire risk. I fvcking hate the way people use safety to get past everything.
