Mike the Metal Ed Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 We got a 0-0 the last time Pearson took us there. As long as Stuart Attwell isn't the ref tomorrow, we have some hope of a decent result. Yeah, sorry, I meant more that we never win there. 87/88, 96/97 (cup) and 06/07 in my lifetime.
robbieLOVESthealmightylcfc Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 as were so unconsistent i think we'll not keep our poor away form (especially in mid week games) and win this
Mav Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Schmeichel Moore - St.Ledger - Bamba - Konchesky Marshall - Drinkwater - Wellens - Dyer Beckford - Schlupp Subs: Peltier, Morgan, Gallagher, King, Nugent.
FoxyPV Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 I have little confidence for a positive result here for us.
class 1 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 2 . 0 leicester , nuge gets 2 , my prediction but dont put money on it
GianEmmo Zola Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 -----------Schmichael--------------- Peltier Morgan Bamba Konchesky --------Drinkwater King------------ -----------Gallagher---------------- ---Marshall Beckford Nugent---- St Ledger, Wellens, Dyer, Schlupp, Howard.
Captain... Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 -----------Schmichael--------------- Peltier Morgan Bamba Konchesky --------Drinkwater King------------ -----------Gallagher---------------- ---Marshall Beckford Nugent---- St Ledger, Wellens, Dyer, Schlupp, Howard. Interesting formation, my concern would be you are accomodating Gallagher at the expense of Nugent, Nugent has not played well out wide. You play to your strengths, and Nugent is a better player than Gallager and Gallagher can play better as wide right in a 442 than Nugent in a 4213.
HEGGSY Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Is this the last game of Danns suspension? Yes, Forest,Posh,Donny and tomorrow is the last game.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Think Danns will struggle to get in, Wellens and DD seem to be striking up quite a partnership!
Lambert09 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 With not a brilliant performance yesterday but a comfortable 4-0 victory over what would you do for the team against Ipswich? Gallagher got one so will he come in for Dyer? The team I would chose though would be this.. Kasper Peltier - Morgan - Bamba - Konchesky Marshall - Drinkwater - King © - Dyer Nugent - Beckford Subs: SSL, Gallagher, Wellens, Howard, Schlupp King will be the only one coming in for me as I think Wellens looked knackered when he went off and with only a days rest would he be able to start a game? I think not! This is going to be a tough game and I can see us drawing it 1-1 as Ipswich away is not an easy place to go to! But who knows, hopefully let's give it our all and cheer the team on for 90 minutes! come of you blues :scarf: Im not sure if its much to go off but King wasnt even made captain for the friendly against kettering..... could mean Pearson doesnt rate him as a leader,,, would expect Kasper to get the nod for captain if that change was made
5waller5 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Some minor amends to Zola's .... -----------Schmichael--------------- Peltier St Ledger, Bamba, Konchesky --------Drinkwater King------------ ------------Marshall------------- ---Gallagher Beckford Nugent---- Dyer, Schlupp, Hopper. Morgan, Kennedy For me Morgan & Bamba were selected against Donny to cope with their big lad up front. 2-2 draw.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Sure king was given the captains armband when he came on could be wrong? Also I personally went to kettering and their was no talk what so ever from our players and considering king was captain last year and was playing with the ressies he had no impact on other players in terms of what a captain should do! I also think it would be harsh to bench either of DD or Wellens considering how good of a game they both had against donny!?
Tielemans63 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Think this'll be a draw. 1-1. We'll go behind inside 20 mins, equalise on the hour then we'll spend the last 30 mins laying siege to the Ipswich goal to no avail.
HoustonFox Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Bit harsh to change the defence after a clean sheet. I think we'll start the same as we did on Saturday and then make the same subs. Marshall to roam though. The lad is in form!!
Albert Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Think Danns will struggle to get in, Wellens and DD seem to be striking up quite a partnership! Will most likely be out for the season with a groin injury unfortunately
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 9 April 2012 Author Posted 9 April 2012 Gave up trying to sleep to get up to this, sleep on the bus Gave it rain from 1pm till 4pm in Ipswich, waterlogged pitch?
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Put a quid on city to win 16-1. Got some cracking odds on that score. Fan-bloody-tastic
SirBobbyStand_ITFC Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 On the bright side, Ipswich do have a dodgy defence. As long as Nugent & Beckford aren't having one of their static days, we can rip them to pieces 3 goals conceded in our last 5 games would suggest otherwise.
lestajigs Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Put a quid on city to win 16-1. Got some cracking odds on that score. Fan-bloody-tastic 16/1 what scores that then??
