Question for the happy clappers

Looks like foxes talk is the same as it ever was. i raise a point (a valid point ie our inconsistency especially with teams lower than us). and what do we get? 80% of the posts are a stream of bile and invective about how i'm not the right kind of supporter because i refuse to put blinkers (or is it rose colored glasses) and just say yes. this is a forum right? we don't all have to think (or even support) in the same way do we? or are some of you more 'worthy' supporters than others which makes you automatically right all the time?

ps - in my spare time i coach two youth teams (after taking two coaching badges), and am a qualified ref. i spend most of my weekends nowadays involved in the sharp end of youth football, because i believe in giving back. any others of you do that? does that make me more or less right???

pps - mr grammar nazi, there's no v in cnt.

Like it's all pals together and everyone allows everyone else an opinion on Bentleys.

So you think everyone on here should agree with you, it's is a forum for differing opinions.

You post on here you'll get a mixed bag of replies just like you do Bentleys the only difference is you've become immune to the ones you dislike on Bentleys.

no, davieg that is not my opinion of BR, and i'm not asking for people to agree with me, i don't have self worth issues.

what i am hoping for is a response about why what i've said is wrong. what evidence is there that we can win 4 in a row. if the 'why' is "you're an idiot, just believe, etc etc" what kind of a forum is that?

My experience of Bentleys is instead of idiot someone would call you a cvnt, I know which response I'd prefer.

As I said you get some shitty response on Bentleys why should you expect a better return on here, you've had some sensible replies and some you might wish to ignore. Also bear in mind we have significantly more posters on here so you should expect more of each. You've already had 55 replies and over a 1000 views, if that was on Bentleys you'd be in line for a reward. :P:thumbup:

There isn't any evidence we can, but there isn't any evidence we can't. It might not be likely, but it's possible like it was in 96.

Secondly, how many people have actually said they think we will win all 4? As I pointed out earlier there is a good chance we won't need to win all 4 when you look at the form of the other teams of late. In the last 6 games we've taken 7 points more than Boro, 9 more than Hull, 6 more than Brighton, and 3 more than Cardiff.

Only Saints and Reading are in better form over the last 6 at the minute. If we'd shown a bit more steel and not conceded in the last minute at Blackpool, and put at least one chance away against Peterborough then we'd have seen a minimum of another 3 points. All if's and buts I know, but we're talking about only a tiny improvement in our game or even just a bit more fortune. It could make all the difference.

And every time we pick up and they drop points it's more pressure on them where we have less ATM cos it may not happen even if we win all four.

At xmas I said no way and did not think we could do it but now we have a chance and like you say they are dropping point's.

Win the next 2 and we could have broken them teams above us then it really will be upto us.

But I do think we will still need 4pts from wetspam and leeds. to do it.

Simply because we support Leicester. In my book, support means getting behind the team not running them down. You didn't say back to back LEAGUE games so taking the cups into account, we've won back to back games 4 times and 3 in a row once

i hope your right, i really do, but all the evidence points differently. i reckon we will draw against Millwall. since the new year every time we have been in a position to get within touching distance of 6th we have put in a poor performance.

Every time? Has Pearson not had us in the top 6 at any point this season then?

Now the text on my phone is back to normal size, I can see he said since the new year so I apologise for that one. Bloody phone, sometimes text is so large it merges together and you can't read it properly, sometimes it's so small you need a magnifying glass.

Whereas Bentley's Roof is the opposite where 80% of the posts are a stream of bile and invective about PSI, BAMS and happy clappers who blindly support the team with posters calling the manager a CU NT and banging on and on and on that he must go NOW and take loads of the useless players with him etc.

BR is largely a negative board while this forum tends to be more positive. There's room for both on the internet.

I was using it merely as a comparison, Mr Libertine.

The louder voices on BR tend to be glass-near-empty, often picking the negative angle of manager, players, performances etc and other elements of life. That, of course, is their right. But it can be a downright fookin misery-fest at times.

flippin heck , thanks for the warning . There's enough miserable gits on here to populate Skeggy in on a winters day.
