If you go back in time and do a few things with your ancestors, such as kill a grandparent and **** another ancestor, bad shit happens. I reckon if they come forward, then the same shit could happen, creating paradoxes, and paradoxes are solved by complete annihilation. Long story short, it's an attempt at insulting the people of Coventry.
