carlhltid Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 looking at the club statement it hints that Thorn's future is uncertain. To be honest doesn't deserve to be sacked he's playing a youth squad week in week out. However if there looking to bounce back to the championship straight away they need to get somebody who knows league one like the back of his hand. I know we had Pearson who never managed in the third tier of football but he had a cheque book, plus a few good championship players. Cov have just got a youth squad with an empty wallet, for them I'd recommend Phil Brown. More than likely who they can just about afford, Davies would be there best choice but can you really see him turning up Cov I mean really. Fingers crossed they stick with Thorn so they won't bounce straight back up they might get sven
Libertine Dream Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 I'm sure they'll all raise there games at the Ricoh. It will have been a week since they last played in front of 8 thousand fans
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 they might get sven Sven going to a club not having lots of money to spend? Don't be silly
carlhltid Posted 21 April 2012 Posted 21 April 2012 Sven going to a club not having lots of money to spend? Don't be silly was joking
Master Fox Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 http://www.skybluest...ty-General-Chat Read out and laugh Wow. Football fans really are some of the most stupid people on the planet. Idiots up and down the country argue about which town/city is better (least shit) in most cases. Coventry fans using manfacturing cars in their city as something to boast about. Sorry to break it to you all but the entire midlands including Leicester is a vile shithole.

Master Fox Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Come one it aint that bad. There are a lot worse places to live. Really? It's pretty grim in the midlands. I would never want to live there. I drive in to the stadium, and drive out. I don't really enjoyc spending time there.

But the weather's better than in the North and South. And less people have noticeable accents. It depends specifically where you live of course, some parts of every City are a bit scummy and some less so. But I'm not sure what people really expect of an English City. My standards are obviously lower than yours

People who live in cities take for granted everything that they have access to, do you know how hard it is to get KFC around here for example!?
Matt Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 If Coventry are still in business by the time betting opens for next season put money on them getting relegated again; Richard Keys @TSKeysandGray Sad. Very sad day for Cov. Now I hear SISU want to put the club into liquidation to rip out any last assets. That's the hold up. Darren Huckerby @hucks6dh @TSKeysandGray club needs a massive shake up, will the club start with a point deduction next year? -10 points,No players, no money #Scary Richard Keys @TSKeysandGray @hucks6dh6 If they liquidate we go out of business - out of the lge. This is serious. There's 3 or 4 mill assets left and they want it. Mind you if they did go into liquidation during next season and ultimately out of business would bets be void?
Jace Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Who is Orangutan Taffy O' Jones on the Coventry forum? http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/forums/7-Coventry-City-General-Chat
Leicesterpool Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Is true they could be kicked out of the ricoh?, because what I heard the ground doesn't belong to Cov it belongs to Coventry Shitty council. All the ticket money there goes to the council, no wonder there in debt! What income is coming in.

In theory what you say and have heard makes sense.
Leicesterpool Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Might be groundshare for them, looking at it the closet ground for them to groundshare with is Coventry Sphinx . No really where on earth would they play?
Guest Bilo Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Who is Orangutan Taffy O' Jones on the Coventry forum? http://www.skybluest...ty-General-Chat Sisu in amuses me. Has suggested signing Defoe, Heskey and Ched Evans because they 'like giving scumbags a go.' Premier League trolling.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Its a shame I think. They had the loudest supporters out of the three 'local' rivals
a_k_b Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 They will struggle next season. Most of their players will leave in the summer leaving them with just kids. Can't see anyone wanting to go play for them, not with the financial trouble they have. I'd bet on them falling through the trap door again. Good times!

Nathan Cameroon is a good defender we could have him here.

Guest Bilo Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Bigirimana looked a decent prospect as well for an 18 year old. Could be worth a punt at a low price.
