HEGGSY Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Were won't be hearing George for quite a while, shame that Disclaimer- I know there not technically relegated yet.
Corky Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 They've had plenty of late escapes before, it could, technically, still happen.
jonthefox Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Shame really. In a peverse way i'll miss our games and thier witty songs.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 ALL ESCAPE TOGETHER FROM THE SKY BLUES IF YOU STAY TOGETHER YOU'LL ALWAYS LOSE! YEOVIL AND CRAWLEY CARLISLE AND EVERYONE THEY'LL ALL DEFEAT YOU SO RUN WHILE YOU'RE IN LEAGUE ONE! Just saw the attendance, 13,974. That is nothing short of a disgrace when they need every point they can get to stay in this division. They're going down to what has become their natural level and won't be missed.
Finnegan Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 And they haven't finished in the top six of a division for how long? Love it if they go down to mid table.
Corky Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 There'll be an initial decent crowd, but then it will wear off for the midweek visit of Shrewsbury.
Fox92 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 The attendance at Cov is bad, but they've had nothing for 10 years and have to compete locally with the likes of Birmingham and Villa. I guess most fans got bored

Nah, that will be their second biggest derby now after the big day out to the titans of Walsall. I think they'd need to mount a serious promotion challenge to average 10,000 next season, seriously. Christ knows what depths they'll sink to for a mid-table game against Hartlepool in January. I get the feeling they won't have half as much fun as we did in League One.
J.Lisemore Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Would much rather have Charlton than mediocre, boring Coventry. Hopefully we can forget about these wasters now.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 ^^^^^ That's the big reason. We can focus on our proper derbies and stop pretending the M69 Derby (ugh) is our big game. It isn't and never has been. Now we can have the relationship with Coventry they deserve, one of mockery and pity.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 They will get an avergae of like 8k next season
I am Rod Hull Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Being happy with a local club getting relegated? a club where we can take 6,000? thats a good thing? What the fvck are you all thinking?

BBQ, the Richo is up there with the most souless grounds in the country,we take 4-6k yet the atmosphere is still utter shite. I hate Cov as an away and even more so as a "derby", but that's just my opinion. In 10 years time.
HEGGSY Posted 17 April 2012 Author Posted 17 April 2012 Well that was 11 years ago. I know that I meant from League 1
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 Been due a good humbling for quite some time. They will struggle to break 5,000 some games next season, good riddance.
