FrankieADZ Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Do you ever post anything that doesnt involve slagging off pearson? short answer is no
Mack Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 What a load of old bollocks. Must have been a quiet one on the news desk
eaststandtom Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 for goodness sake. if there is any truth in this then we will never have any consistency. pearson must stay and be given a blank page to start from.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 The fact our fans are willing this to happen is a joke, why are so many people on here hell bent for it to happen? Wait till the preseason is over and we're halfway through next year then come back with your Pearson out protest, give the guy some time! Can't stand Pearson, he's boring, poor tactics, poor style of football and no results. Face it, he's shite!

Yojoe36 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Oh cool!! So we'll sack another manger, and have to build the squad again? Isn't that what we've been doing for 8 years? And got fvcking no where? Apart from 2008/09 - 2009/10 of course. Where we had the same mamanger, and no sackings. I'm not keeping a hold of Pearson's past. I'm saying if we need promotion, we need to keep a manager and build a squad. And I don't mean spend like fvck then sack one after 13 bloody game either.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 If the Thai owners make the move it would make our club a bigger laughing stock! After the soap opera involved in bringing NP back we need to have a period of patience and stability allow him to continue with the project he has started by culling deadwood and reducing wage bill, created by Sven, then adding a FEW new players to achieve his plan. Having a managerial merry-go-round will just set the club back even further imo.

Can we just have this on the front page of the forum under a big 'NO MORE FVCKING NIGEL PEARSON THREADS' banner?

That's about the size of it If the Thai owners make the move it would make our club a bigger laughing stock! Also, it's only a very small minority who want him out, it's because they whine the loudest (empty vessels and all that) that it sounds like more
Vale Blue Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 They're putting 2 and 2 together. No basis in it, but Sven was probably told promotion was a must. Problem is they sacked to improve their promotion chances and here we are!!! Cant imagine the owners are happy with Nige, either
flowwolf Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 I'm willing to let him stay so long as he promises not to buy any more bargain bucket special trainers from sports direct. They let the club down the players down the fans down and most of all they let him down. They go or he does simple.
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 The fans would begin to turn on the owners if they even consider NPs position. They need to tread carefully, because clearly their efforts so far have given us nothing other than a "we're loaded, we'll splash it, we're buying the league" label which has given us nothing more than midtable mediocrity.

That has already happened so nothing new in that regard imo.
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 That has already happened so nothing new in that regard imo. In what way? I am still 100% behind them at this point.

Happy Fox Posted 22 April 2012 Author Posted 22 April 2012 In what way? Financial accounts, sacking Sven so early rightly or wrongly etc. The owners are in a situation that they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Tbh they may have to be ruthless and get rid of peeps giving them advice cos clearly that hasn't worked for example Andrew Neville. I am still 100% behind them at this point.
halferowley2 Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 i would if some of the posters on here were still reading it I do like that comment
Thracian Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 The article writer in question is Paul Hetherington, football editor of the Daily Star Sunday and executive secretary of the Football Writers Association. So if he is a bullshitting than we will see? It's not a question of whether he's bullshitting or not there is not one relevent quote to the story nor even a veiled reference to a quote. They could publish anything as "rumoured". Bloody hell they might as well add another 12 pages, go for all the rumours and settle for 1 in 150,000.
cosmos Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 To all you pearson lovers- you must all know jack about football. He constantly picks wellens and gally and if he doesn't have the management nounce to see how bad they are then he'll never be the one for us. Come the start of the season he WILL be gone

I suppose you are right, it is sensationalist journalism if it has any credence than we will see in the fullness of time with everything take it with a pinch of salt but I am sure you do that anyway Thrac as you seem know what you are talking about.

cosmos Posted 22 April 2012 Posted 22 April 2012 Well now that you ask i would say nounce is knowhow, the knowhow to not keep picking midfielders who back out of tackles, to not pick players who constantly give the ball away, to not keep picking gally who just does not try hard enough-after much deliberation i've decided not to throw any more cash at my beloved foxes until np is gone. I know i won't be long because he will be gone by the start of the new season but more likely long before. No bullshit i'll take a wager off anyone for any size, it's not if it's when!
