Salieri Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Make no mistake abou it, pearson lovers or Pearson haters, we have been piss poor, midtable is not Good enough, Can't I be somewhere in the middle?
lestajigs Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Can't I be somewhere in the middle? Me to, yea on the fence
The People's Hero Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Is he still here? Just take the handsome pay off and don't darken our door again!
THEFATBASTARD Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 You don't necessarily achieve anything by running a business like Blofeld from James Bond. I do, but i like stroking the pussy all day..
wurmer Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 When he was interviewed for the job he must have presented his plan for the rest of the season and I suspect the very minimum goal would be the play-offs. I somehow don't think the owners would have employed him if all he could promise was 10th place. The owners are hard headed business guys, they won't tolerate this dreadful perfomance. I suspect the 'brief' has been out for a few weeks already. We haven't secured 10th place yet.....
Babylon Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Home games or away - weren't we bad against these teams twice this year? Who said we weren't?
dannythefox Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 If were not were we want to be after 15 games a fear the Thais will sack Pearson and we will have this all over again.
blueredswed Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Sack Pearson now! And all Leicester fans get behind one manager this is the best for next saeson! Trust mee
Zingari Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Sack Pearson now! And all Leicester fans get behind one manager this is the best for next saeson! Trust mee i think you might be little over optimistic
flowwolf Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 I think it's quite nice of the owners to let him finish the season.
Fox1norfolk Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 You don't necessarily achieve anything by running a business like Blofeld from James Bond. No this is the real world and the difference from where we are now to where we should be is around £90 million
Guest Foxin_mad Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 Seriously this is beyond a joke. Who is the bloke that we think will lead us to the promised land if we bring them in now? Seriously no one. They have to learn about the players all over again, they have to decide what players they want to keep, who they want to bring in, and possibly change the way the team plays AGAIN. This constant changing will NEVER work! Some of the names we are linked with are laughable: Lee Clark Mick McCarthy Billy Davies Kevin Keegan Absolute jokers. There are only a couple of blokes that could do a better job MON and Di Matteo we wil lget neither, so itsirrelevant. Only get rid if you have someone better to bring in. Lets bring Sven back so he can spunk another £15 million up the wall on average dross....great.

Mick McCarthy is good though he has a record of getting teams promotion from this division what more could you want?. We need promotion their is no question about that, if we are willing to bide our time 2-3 seasons than promotion than NP is the man for the job ,but I get this impression that this isn't the case they want promotion asap, so if the owners take a gamble on Mick McCarthy I reckon he could deliver.

Happy Fox Posted 24 April 2012 Author Posted 24 April 2012 You having a laugh! F**k OFF Why what is so wrong with him? I don't care if he is perceived to be a c**t or a monotonous he certainly isn't on Warnock scale, he will get results and promotion which is what the owners want, if we are willing to wait for promotion than NP is the man.
wurmer Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 You having a laugh! F**k OFF Who said intelligent debate was dead..? I like MM, he has a proven record of getting clubs out of this division. He's no Colin either. Edit: And he hates Roy Keane FTW.

Didnt he take 2 or 3 years with Wolves? I remember at one point the Yam Yams were getting very impatient with him when they threw away a 12 point lead at the top of the Championship and ended in the playoffs.
stourbridgefox Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 I did a bit of work with a professional football coach. One thing I learned from working with him was the requirement of young people playing football (or any sport) to be able to handle disappointment. Disappointment goes hand in hand with playing sport and it is important for a player to be able to deal with not achieving everything they would like. It was part of their development as players to lose and get over it. I don't think many Leicester fans are very good at this and it explains the histrionics about us not achieving our goals this season.

Vlad the Fox Posted 24 April 2012 Posted 24 April 2012 People moan about Pearsons style of play then seriously talk about replacing him with McCarthy.
