Shit_arse Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Young, Ambitious, Hungry and full of ability - Exactly the sort of player we need Hopefully Nigel will get this one tied up before others try to hijack the deal
Babylon Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 You do know that Fleetwood is about 5 miles from Blackpool don't you? I was hoping nobody else did.
Captain... Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I was hoping nobody else did. I have changed my post so as to keep your rouse going,
Guest parky0607 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Im from fleetwood. Cracking player, such a good signing for us.
Guest parky0607 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I'm sorry. haha its less of a dive than Blackpool... I saw some guy pick up a half smoked, flattened cigarette that was sat in dog muck the other day and light it, I nearly vomitted.
stourbridgefox Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I love it when non-league players make the step up and are successful.
Simo86 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Young, Ambitious, Hungry and full of ability - Exactly the sort of player we need Hopefully Nigel will get this one tied up before others try to hijack the deal Sort of young, he's 25 so needs to hit the ground running to make a successful career for himself. If he only has an average start I hope certain fans don't jump on his back!
FrankieADZ Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Any news yes...ive got a box of Cadbury fabulous fingers and there smaller than the normal ones....gutted. on Vardy...Nay
Raw Dykes Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Sort of young, he's 25 so needs to hit the ground running to make a successful career for himself. If he only has an average start I hope certain fans don't jump on his back! That could be a problem, but I expect there won't be too much pressure on him. As he's making such a big step up, I think the manager and the fans will give him more slack than someone like Beckford or Nugent, who have played in the PL. I reckon he'll be on reasonable wages, and will be more of a squad player than someone expecting to start every match.

Danno Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Someone fancy going on a fleetwood forum and asking about him??
RumbleFox Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I fvcking love the expectation and excitement of pre season!!! Let's not get miserable or start questioning the validity of the sourse let's just roll with it and enjoy the ride! Vardy! Vardy! Vardy!
Libertine Dream Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Definitely signing today, seen a car with Reg Vardy at Morrisons. Exciting signing and hopefully a sign of things to come
goose2010 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 i like the idea of getting players in early, give them the whole pre season to train with the squad. This signing does excite me aswell, young and looking to impress at a higher level it could be the best 1million ever spent, and if he doesnt set the league on fire at least it wasnt 5mill on 30k a week
The Padster Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Definitely signing today, seen a car with Reg Vardy at Morrisons. Let's see how many deaf ears that falls on.

stourbridgefox Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 From the vid he seems to have close control and pace which should translate to the Championship.
nickelbyfox Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 Yep regardless of how good he is or isn't, pace is key! That is if we do not take Dyer as a comparison.
DanTheFox07 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 look up jamie vardy hat-trick on youtube, his third on there is with the outside of the boot curling in! abslout beaut!
DanTheFox07 Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 The price seems a bit steep for a non-league player yeah but look at his potential and his young, plus he has been looked at by a number of club`s! could have been worse if we got in a bidding war!
