At 25 he needs to fulfil his potential sharpish. I'm for signing him, but we can't keep harping on about him being young with potential

He's 24 which is hardly that young in football terms and only played one season in the Conference. For us to pay that amount, it's almost certain we were in a bidding war. We bought Wellens for a similar amount after promotion, who was a top tier player by League One standards and had played a full season in the Championship already. Considering that NP won't get anywhere near the same amount available as Sven, it just seems a bit risky.

itsblueupnorth Posted 2 May 2012 Posted 2 May 2012 I've been to watch Fleetwood about 6 or 7 times this season and he is undoubtably their best player - really quick - when they played Tamworth their manager said he was the best player he'd ever seen playing non league football

EDIT: to be fair I would look good if it was just a video of me scoring.
