QPR are slowly and quietly building up a decent side. Some good, and experienced, Premier League players in their side.

I didn't even realise Chelsea were linked with Maicon! He has signed though, 6million apparently?

But I agree, I might put something on them winning the title/or at least coming second.

Hughes has the reputation and experience Warnock hasn't got.

You can see why they wanted him.

I think Woodgate is a better signing for Middlesbrough than Bridge is for Brighton

Can see Boro being quite a team next year, and obviously Brighton will be too but I dont think they'll reach the Prem for another couple of years

There's no doubting his quality but how many times will he actually play next season, more than likely wont get 20 games out of him.

depends what he can offer in those 20 games and around the squad I guess

That will suit me fine to be honest , quite surprised we didn't have a massive squad cull this summer , we're still carrying a few league 1/2 players so still work to be done

(I meant Midfielder/Striker needed not to be completely in the deep brown stuff this season, no WAY did I think the P word)

Good signing that is. He could have done a job for us as a striker or winger.

That will assist QPR's owner in selliing merchandise, and making the club big, over in his country etc

Birmingham have Lee Naylor on trial as well. Good left full back at this level.

Eldin Jakupovic to Hull.

Someone's been playing Football Manager!

I love it how they're saying that "signing a goalkeeper" was their top priority!

No talk of signing a top goalkeeper... lol

Jakupovic's a journeyman, never set the world alight.

Luke Chambers to Ipswich.

Cotteril has seen Spain's success playing with no forwards and has decided to try a similar thing but with no defenders.
