As I said in my first ever post, I read a rumour from a Norwich fan on the Orange chatboards that Grant Holt was leaving and coming to Leicester. Couldn't really take it that seriously but now it's starting to have a bit more credibility. Let's wait and see what happens.

Did I read yesterday Norwich put a 12 month hands of any players clause to let Lambert go to Villa? If not wouldn't be surprised to see him go Villa.

That rumour was back in March when he appeared to be perfectly happy at Norwich and there was no suggestion that he wanted to leave apart from that rumour. So obviously the rumour has gained credibility over the last couple of months. I never said he was actually coming here, I just said that a Norwich fan said he was coming here. I only said let's wait and see what happens so don't take it out on me. And if you want to look at it like that, why would any player come here?

I haven't read that about Lambert, but i know Swansea got that clause into their negotiations with Liverpool so i wouldn't be surprised if Norwich had insisted on including that with Villa.
