Spain start with NO strikers!!!!!

Perhaps Craig Levein isn't a terrible manager after all, but rather was just ahead of his time.

Thing being with a 4-6-0 you do need midfielders who can score, and Scotland barely have any strikers that can do that, let alone midfielders.

Plus Pedro hasn't been too hot lately. I'd wonder why Llorente isn't getting a look--perhaps he comes off the bench if necessary--but I shouldn't second-guess del Bosque.

ITV coverage is fooking appalling!

Director - I know let's go down to the restaurant and do the panel there with people eating their dinner in the background.

Everyone - Brilliant idea.

Insert random shit titles for shits and giggles

Employment of Adrian Chiles.

Emiliano from Milano looks like a creepy stalker over Chiles shoulder.

Talk about cut backs, the BBC havn't even gone (As in Gary and the pundits) to Poland/Ukraine and the ITV have gone but havn't bothered getting a studio or going to the stadiums, they'll just broadcast from a cafe. lol

After that Panorama feature on Poland and Ukraine, I think it's wise of the BBC to stay home this summer. ;)

I saw italy at a world cup once. Most tedious two hours of my life by far.

I'd love to see them get annihilated but no doubt they'll fluke an early goal and spend the rest of the match diving, cheating and hair pulling. Same old.

I saw Spain in one match and it was boring.

And if we're talking about diving, cheating and hair pulling the Spanish and the Italians are as bad as each other.

I can definitely see why people like the Italy kit. I'm not sure it's that different to what we've currently got though.

Spain kit is quite nice too considering its bog standard adidas design.

The difference is that Spain games being boring isn't really their fault. Xavi made a good point in an interview I read, talking about some of their one nil wins, there's not a lot they can do if the opposition set out to ruin.

Can we really blame them for "being too good" if every team they face opts to shut up shop and park a fleet of busses?

Some teams are boring, they throw everyone behind the ball and play anti-football. Spain don't do that, they don't WANT to play keep ball around the opposition area for ninety minutes, they WANT to play cutting football and score goals. But if some of the best and most organized defenses in the sport are going to rigidly deny them then its going to get tedious.

Normally I'd agree but......4-6-0???

Said it before and I'll say it again.

Spain are the most boring team ever to win the World Cup.

This is why I want Germany to win the Euros, let exciting football win the day.
