Kitchandro Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 For ****s sake. This going to be a repeat of Euro 2004 all over again. England should be up 2-0 but instead sit unacceptably deep and completely surrender possession in the hope of holding on and end up losing a match we are more than capable of winning. In 30 years will we EVER learn that this simply does not work against the worlds best? Our total lack of midfield is also encouraging the French to believe that we no longer possess a threat the longer the game goes on and thus creates more pressure on the back 4. Whilst we keep hiring the safe, uninspiring option for manager - no.
purpleronnie Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Well I was going to enjoy HT, now I'm dreading the 2nd half.
BlueSi13 Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Whilst we keep hiring the safe, uninspiring option for manager - no. The mad thing is that until we scored, i thought we were playing some lovely football, the French had hardly bothered us at all upto that point. But then we make the mistake of scoring, we retreat into our shell and invite the French into the game who now smell blood and fear.
Mark_w Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Whilst we keep hiring the safe, uninspiring option for manager - no. Harry Redknapp isn't exactly a Brian Clough so it wouldn't have made much difference this tournament.
lavrentis Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Good hit, hopefully teaches England (and other teams watching) how stupid it is to sit deep and try to defend a goal lead for an hour. Should be good for the spectacle. Blatantly closet England. Come on England
Kitchandro Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Harry Redknapp isn't exactly a Brian Clough so it wouldn't have made much difference this tournament. He'd be more interest in play quick, positive football and hammering the advantage home than Hodgson
BoneDog Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 I really feel you'd be better broaching the subject with your wife first. Not in that way! Let's face it, he's no Gary Neville. Carragher got it spot on there, the two midfielders got themselves way out of position for France's goal. Disappointing. Still fairly confident that one of our forward lads will tuck one away second half. Just seen an advert with Kamara, "I work hard.....I work out even harder."
Babylon Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 I think Scott Parker must be seeing things as he keeps passing the ball in between two white shirts when going forward.
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Blatantly closet England. Come on England Not at all, I hope you get hammered. I'm just fed up of eleven behind the ball defensive football.
Tielemans63 Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 What the **** does a Frenchman have to do get booked? There's been so many niggly fouls and he's done nothing.

orangecity23 Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Should have been a freekick on the edge of the box, clear foul on Gerrard
Guest Bilo Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 This is a UEFA tournament and it's England playing Murder brings about a red card. That will be rescinded upon appeal.
Mark_w Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 This is a UEFA tournament and it's England playing We haven't won anything for 40-odd years because 'they' don't want us to.
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 This is a UEFA tournament and it's England playing Oh shut the fvck up .
Kitchandro Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Oh shut the fvck up . No. Go watch Wales. Oh no you can't because they didn't qualify. Twat
Babylon Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 What the **** does a Frenchman have to do get booked? There's been so many niggly fouls and he's done nothing. Sod the yellow cards, I'd just like to get the obvious free kicks that are being ignored.
Mark_w Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 Foul on Johnson, not given. Yeah it's not like that sort of thing happens in all football matches, it's only England.
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2012 Posted 11 June 2012 No. Go watch Wales. Oh no you can't because they didn't qualify. Twat Pick your toys up and grow up, silly little boy. The ref may be crap, he may be biased, but repeating the same tired, persecution complex, conspiracy theory nonsense every time something goes against England makes you look foolish beyond belief. In other news, Ribbery is a ****.
