Guest Bilo Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 I think it's more Spain have just been very good. Granted, but Ireland have been woeful defensively in both of their matches. The Spanish have looked impressive tonight but taken in context, this 4-0 pasting isn't as impressive as it looks on paper.
Guest Bilo Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Absolutely staggering Irish support. Wonderful stuff. Showing themselves up my bollocks. I was just about to post that. Fields of Athenry is nothing short of staggering in the stadium, they knock the England fans into a cocked hat on current evidence.
Leicesterpool Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 The irish never praise England, they hate our guts! and people cheer them on!

Just waiting for some twelve year old to suggest in lcfcchat that we start singing "that Ireland song."

Just been found out, not used to playing teams like that, The Italians are great at breaking up play so were always going to give the Spanish a game, You'll see better teams than the Irish get picked apart by football like that. Should we get through we'll probably be the first.
AyewJoking Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Goals for Silva and Fabregas will boost my flagging sun dream team!!
Corky Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Just waiting for some twelve year old to suggest in lcfcchat that we start singing "that Ireland song." In once heard a Liverpool fan in a pub ask why the Irish had nicked "Fields of Anfield Road".
Guest Bilo Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Just waiting for some twelve year old to suggest in lcfcchat that we start singing "that Ireland song." LOOOOOOOOOOOO LIE THE FIELDS OF RAW DYKES ROOOAD!!!
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! **** OFF IRELAND! What a sad little man you are. LOOOOOOOOOOOO LIE THE FIELDS OF RAW DYKES ROOOAD!!! lol
Leicesterpool Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Now we don't have to hear about Ireland anymore, would the irish ever praise or cheer on england!
Tom17LCFC Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Hats off to the Irish support there. Could imagine being one of the Irish players on the pitch with Fields of Athenry belting out, quality!
Mark_w Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Now we don't have to hear about Ireland anymore, would the irish ever praise or cheer on england! Would an Aston Villa fan ever cheer on Leicester? Doesn't stop you supporting them.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Shame, that most of Irish lads don't give a fvck about own league... Cracking international support, very poor on club level.
Leicesterpool Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 I don't ask you or expect you to cheer on villa plus villa fans don't hate Leicester fans. Ireland hate the english simple there's a huge difference.

I don't ask you or expect you to cheer on villa plus villa fans don't hate Leicester fans. Ireland hate the english simple Some do, some don't, to be honest given the history between the two countries a few people are bound to be a bit bitter, grow up.
Bugg Posted 14 June 2012 Posted 14 June 2012 Now we don't have to hear about Ireland anymore, would the irish ever praise or cheer on england! What a twat you really are. Whatever this giant chip on your shoulder about Ireland is, you need to get over it. Their support has been a credit to this tournament and although the team haven't been very good in this tournament, their fans have more than made up for it with effort and commitment in supporting them. The team is clearly the worst in the tournament but I will be cheering them on against Italy in hope that their supporters go home with at least a little bit of pride Leicesterpool, you are the David Brent of this forum, you consider yourself to be the pinnacle of humour and wit, but everyone else just thinks you're a twat.
