ScouseFox Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 Spain are Barcelona without Messi. Which is fĂșcking boring. But you can't pass a penalty in a shootout, so this could be more interesting.
acooling08 Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 I find Championship style football much more exciting. Scrambles in the box, crosses getting whipped in, crunching challenges, players running with the ball instead of passing sideways. If patient passing football does it for you then Spain are definitely your team.
z-layrex Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 Can't believe it's taken this long to see a goal . Come on Portugal.
ScouseFox Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 Ronaldo vs Casillas could be interesting if it happens.
Corky Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 The commentators are pretty annoying as well. They seem to be up Spain's arse at any minute opportunity. It's one of those "myth" type things that starts and spreads so all commentators must be the same in their views.
marko Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 It's one of those "myth" type things that starts and spreads so all commentators must be the same in their views. The Emperor's New Clothes kind of scenario.
Saxondale Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 That was harsh on Portugal, who I think have been one of the gems of the tournament.
Guest MattP Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 That pretty much sums up Ronaldo tonight, wants to take the fifth to grab the glory of it rather than take one earlier and get it out the way for his team. Glad the Spanish won, poor tonight but still the best side to watch in the World on form.
BlueSi13 Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 Tedium won Thank **** for Germany. Never thought i'd say that.
ScouseFox Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 Any half decent team would have their defensive record if they passed it between their two centre halves for 92 of the 93 minutes every game.
