Jon the Hat Posted 4 August 2012 Posted 4 August 2012 A thread for the unsung heroes of the Olympics! I will start us off. The makeup crew who turn our medal winning female athletes into the polished beauties I keep seeing on the sofa with Gary. Outstanding work. Keep it up.

Dan Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 Wellens. Make up for his victimisation in the past 12 months.
Nick Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 John Major. He signed the forms that allowed lottery funding to start going to these athletes in 1994. heroic.
Guest MattP Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 heroic. I thought you would respond. This is the first generation of them that have recieved the Lottery funding for most of their lives. Maybe if we win enough gold we can replace some of the stuff the last left wing shambles sold off at rock bottom prices. I bet you are secretly fuming inside at all this national pride sweeping the nation, brilliant.
Tielemans63 Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 Ian Thorpe for putting up with Clare Balding. Jeez shes a weirdo Touche!

'I thought you would respond' = troll boy fishing or attempting to look wise and knowing after the event. I'm glad the Lottery sponsored athletes - the fact that John Major signed the paperwork to authorise the spending of lottery funds is hardly heroic. Gold and left wing politics has sweet nothing to with any of this. Lastly why an earth would I be in the least bit angry or 'fuming' - secretly or otherwise about British olympians achieving medals? Basically, every element of your post is a load of bollocks really isn't it - no news there.
Jimothy Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 I think we all should get medals for reading MattP's posts.
