fleckneymike Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 After the competitive grief posts from the other day are we to assume the chap has not joined the choir invisible after all?
fleckneymike Posted 6 August 2012 Author Posted 6 August 2012 it certainly was a "classic" Is the poor chap who expressed cynicism only to be greeted with derision and accusations of being a heartless beast due an apology from the professional grievers? I'm surprised that someone hadn't arranged a whip round for a flag so they could show how much they cared
Finnegan Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 It sums up this place perfectly that the death, or non-death, of a human being can turn in to a pissing contest either way.

kingfox Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Im sure we will be seeing him train with Fleetwood Town sooner or later.
Out Foxed Posted 6 August 2012 Posted 6 August 2012 Is the poor chap who expressed cynicism only to be greeted with derision and accusations of being a heartless beast due an apology from the professional grievers? I'm surprised that someone hadn't arranged a whip round for a flag so they could show how much they cared haha. It was to be expected; typical FT behaviour of people clambering over each other to show how caring/liberal/brilliant they are. The knowledge that it was bullshit is vindication enough for me. i was never laughing at him being dead but the moral indignation brigade jumped the gun as usual. Why would you post that yesterday? oh dear....because i'm clearly clairvoyant.
fleckneymike Posted 6 August 2012 Author Posted 6 August 2012 Still not dead. Everyday I feel we should all post on this thread about how glad we are that he's still alive an treat yesterday as the first day of his life. Perhaps people could update us daily on his progress, has he gone bungee jumping, opened an orphanage, done a sky dive, swam with Dolphins etc
fleckneymike Posted 7 August 2012 Author Posted 7 August 2012 Bump. Another day and he's still with us. Today I hear Sergio spent his time picking wild flowers in a meadow and considering the lilies after having been given the gift of life.
Corky Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 On his Wikipedia page, it says at one club he scored 4 goals in 0 appearances. Now that's talent.

People expressing respect / sorrow / regard as they're under the (albeit false) impression that the bloke is dead counts as moral indignation? Get a grip. You've both taken a metaphorical shit-with-your-clothes-on here.
