Salieri Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Very nice! Surprised there's no Kennedy or Taft on the bench, or Futacs. Strange that there are 3 strikers but no defenders on the bench.
Babylon Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 That's our best team isn't it? Minus Knocky? Nige is taking it seriously then. Beckford continues to play. Probably using this as the final pre-season game.
foxesfan1989 Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 I thought we would see 8 or 9 of the team that will start on sat, and I still think that is right. Nugent and Danns should start sat surely. Plus maybe Knockaert.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Well Nugent's not starting. Beckford had a better game than Nugent on saturday, that's why he's playing
m00nie Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Strange that there are 3 strikers but no defenders on the bench. shulpp can cover LB.. james can cover CB.. moore can cover RB.. so can mix it up if things happen
Simmo86 Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Liking that! Beckford and Vardy again. Hopefully both can bag for a nice little confidence boost!
Babylon Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Just to be clear... If he scores, they don't count.

Plus maybe Knockaert. Nugent probably doesn't deserve to be dropped but Beckford/Vardy as a partnership didn't look bad against Sunderland (and now it's clear he is staying he needs a chance alongside someone other than Nugent), plus both have had decent pre-seasons. Danns hasn't done anything that special for us and James/Drinkwater looked fantastic when we faced Sunderland. I doubt we'll see any changes other than potentially Knockaert in for Dyer but even with that Nigel may want to ease him in. Beckford had a better game than Nugent on saturday, that's why he's playing I know that, doesn't necessarily make it our strongest side does it?
dave_the_fox Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Glad he's playing a strong side, shame no Knocky though. International duty. Not sure if you know that or not with your smilie

Guest Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Schlupp off the bench replacing Becks for a hat trick

Plus maybe Knockaert. Why does everyone think Danns is nailed on for a starting place? I seriously don't get what the big deal is with him. He seems very industrious but he doesn't really have much else in the locker. From what I've seen so far, our potential best midfield duo would be Drinky and James...?
