Aleksz Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Nugent biting on twitter? "good result, had a great view from the bench"
lcfcsnow Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Nugent biting on twitter? "good result, had a great view from the bench" I mentioned he was in a mardy all night in an earlier post, something ain't right.
MattyFromLE Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Nugent biting on twitter? "good result, had a great view from the bench" So long as he uses this to work harder to earn a starting place then I don't see a problem. However, it does seem a bit bitchy. Hmmmm.
Jace Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Just got home from the match ohhhh Pokey Pokey Pokey!!! Was a good performance looked sharp going forward and although Beckfords finishing was poor today he created some brilliant chances Vardy looked good too and Dyer and Marshall bossed the wings. Dunno what Nugent is on about on Twitter because he almost played half the match and he was better on the bench than he was on the pitch

KFS Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Nugent biting on twitter? "good result, had a great view from the bench" Here we go again!
MattyFromLE Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 That didn't seem to be his attitude pre match or when he came on. Doesn't sound good. Surely though, an experienced professional should realise that it's the first of a long hard season and that it's a team game?
Grey Fox Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Nugent biting on twitter? "good result, had a great view from the bench" He actually said "Good performance boys! Had a great view from the bench!" Never the less, I think he's just guaranteed himself another bench on Saturday if Nige see's that.

One thing I've noticed, is that Schlupp's put "2 hours left" - surely Nuge hasnt tweeted about being a sub, whilst on the same coach as NP? Just speculating - not trying to come up with a conspiracy theory
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 "Good performance boys! Had a great view from the bench!" Could be interpreted in a positive way or a negative way. Chill, kids.
Guest nathan. Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Players are just asking for trouble venting on twitter he should know better i know its not much but we cant have this type of shit a few days from a league opener.
EnderbyFox Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Who will Knockaert replace on Saturday, if anyone?
Guest ttfn Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Decent performance, Drinkwater was excellent. Thought James looked off the pace in the first half.

Yes it can, but since you can't use emotion on twitter, maybe he is better keeping it to himself. Or making damn sure it can't be taken the wrong way before he puts it out there. Just saying.

DanTheFox07 Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 To be fair Nugent was shit in last few game`s toward`s the end of last season, will be interesting come sat see how nigel goes for upfront! I would go for vardy and beckford.....? what does everyone else reckon?

Just saying. nuge was fine after the game i waited around and had a chat withsome ofhe lads as they got on the coach, me nuge and benny were having good banter with dannsy who tripped up the curb getting to the coach. got a pic with nige all good stuff. the 4th goal for ya, video is poor though.

I would go for vardy and beckford.....? what does everyone else reckon? Beckford and Vardy linked up very well tonight even though it was 0-4 on another night it could of been 6 or 7 there was so many chances they created the chances alright but were just a bit rusty with some shots

I would go for vardy and beckford.....? what does everyone else reckon? I would start the same team that started tonight. A clean sheet for the back five, although not really tested. A goal for 3 out of 4 midfield starters, the other given MOTM. A goal for Vardy, and an assist for Beckford. Why change that?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Not getting carried away at all but it's got to be good for the confidence of the players leading in to Saturday. I think we need to start the season with 6 points from our opening 2 games as games 3,4 and 5 look tough on paper.
Jace Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 nuge was fine after the game i waited around and had a chat withsome ofhe lads as they got on the coach Foxhateram's Optimistic Bus, me nuge and benny were having good banter with dannsy who tripped up the curb getting to the coach. got a pic with nige all good stuff. the 4th goal for ya, video is poor though.
Bugg Posted 14 August 2012 Posted 14 August 2012 Woooooah the oakey pokey! I know it was against a weak Torquay side but I thought we played very well, drinkwater was excellent and despite not scoring, Beckford performed great too. Marshall's free kick was also a joy to watch. Only downside was Moore's first half performance as I thought Rene Howe dominated him and he looked shakey.

Just a gut feeling, they worked well in pre-season and Nugent is a better player than Beckford.

I always thought it was hokey cokey? Maybe we are singing the American version for some reason? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokey_cokey
