Futacs on for Vardy and Knockaert on for Dyer, I think those would be good changes to make.

What was worries me about Leicester is that even though we dominated for half an hour and Blackpool for 15 minutes they created best 2 chances of the match.

My conclusion is Vardy and Nugent to similar they're both trying to poach and nick in behind. I'd bring on Futacs for aerial threat perhaps not straight away but in 10. Beckford to come on later as well.

#not clinical enough

Vardy looks way more like doing something than Nugent

Our midfield is average at best.

Dyer is quite frank .... dire. Single footed, one dimensional. Unable to deliver an early ball.

Marshall, he's okay. Crossing is average but whenever I've watched him I'm not 100% sold on his ability like most are.

The center midfield though is unbalanced. We just lack that spark and grit. We don't protect the defence enough and don't have anyone that will drive through the middle. They'll keep the ball but do bugger all with it.

Defence is okay.

I think Nuge has better work rate and more pace to feed off Futacs.

First time I've seen a full half this season and not impressed.

We started lively, our biggest threats have been Marshall, who's numerous good crosses have gone unconverted, and Vardy, who's let himself down with poor first touches, but has had one decent effort. We've passed the ball well when going forward but as soon as players are put under pressure they have to get rid of it, nobody seems able to keep the ball and go round someone.

The centre of midfield is exactly how I remember it - pedestrian and lacking individual creativity.

Dyer's been wasteful as usual, he's so infuriating it's unreal. Some of his poor play could be the difference between winning and losing.

Defence isn't good enough, Moore and Konchesky have been shocking and that chance that Kasper saved demonstrates how easy we are to play through. We loom very slow and need to dip into the loan market.

Nugent also needs to get more involved.

We've shown some promise in our general play but Blackpool, despite not playing well, have shown far more incisiveness in the final 3rd, they only needed a couple of attacks to create the best chances of the game. We have been gifted possession and space throughout the half but have created little.

The KP looks and sounds awful by the way, attendance must be one of the lowest for a league game we've had in years.

It's his fault again...

if we are gonna use wingers (who are not very good at crossing the ball) then we need to have a target man upfront, futacs should be on the pitch, we cant keep crossing to 4ft 0 players and expect them to get a head on it. Also Konch looks a bit of a liability, same old story of pushing up and getting caught out in defense, they will certainly exploit this in the second half. Moore - decent player but I agree perhaps he's not ready to start first team football

That actually came from the midfield not tracking Ince's run...

Agree on Whogent...

Plenty to be positive about, just lacking any composure in the final third. And Moore got a bit sloppy towards the end there.

Konchesky's our weak link imo. If our deliveries had been better we'd have scored i'm sure (even in our scoring form)

Marshall has delivered some dangerous crosses from that right hand side, but it's a bit ineffective when we have two poaching strikers. Strange tactic when we don't have a tall target man. Dyer put them under pressure with his pace in the first 10 minutes but his passing and crossing has been very poor. Would really like to see Knockaert on now, as even if he doesn't cross he can cut in much better than Lloyd. Moore's been solid so far, until his inexperience got the better of him with the poor decision making with his passes towards the end of the half.

Overall, a positive half that we need to build on in the second and take a deserved lead! Keep an eye on the free runs from Blackpool closely instead of just running around applying pointless 'pressure' which in turn knackers us!

On a bonus though, his movement is very good.

his movement is excellent, his play is selfless.

He's come from non-league and he's justifiably keeping Beckford OUT of the team.

We have a winger with zero technical ability crossing the ball to a striker with zero technical ability, it doesn't take a genius to work out why the ball doesn't end up in the net.

You noticed that too?

Ince gave and went and not one player followed him.

For those saying we don't look like scoring I don't know what game you're watching. We could easily have scored 3 in the first half. Some of you expect too much.

No striker scores with every touch.

It came from Morgan letting one of them turn on the spot firstly. It probably was partly to do with the midfield (that's nothing new either) but Moore also looked alseep and let him pull away.

New wingers please. BM and LD terrible delivery from both.

I thought Marshall delivered some great crosses!

Again though, none of our strikers gambling to get anyone near them.

Have to admit Dyer's final ball has been gash.
