MooseBreath Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Lamps and Gerry in the middle has never worked and looks like it never will work, but at least they bothered to turn up rather than suffering one of those pesky international break injuries
Guest BlueBrett Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Hands up who would have buried that!
purpleronnie Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Lamps and Gerry in the middle has never worked and looks like it never will work, but at least they bothered to turn up rather than suffering one of those pesky international break injuries How dare you, I read ashley cole has a minor ankle injury. And walcott thought he might be coming down with the sniffles. sounds serious.
tylesta Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 i haven't watched england play since england watched italy pass it round them for 120 minutes. just watching the last 20 of this enfgland look clueless when they have the ball!

Clueless, should have had a peno, hit the post and just scored a penalty but we aren't creating nothing...
Guest BlueBrett Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Sounds like most of you disagree with me but I think we have deserved that
purpleronnie Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Frank slams it home. he strikes the ball really odd....but it works!!!
Corky Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Plenty of pelanty = penalty Been watching Chris Waddle
davieG Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 We need another England Captain for the next game.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 well at least we don't have to put up with the Gerrard/Lampard in the middle combo anymore
davieG Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Lampard MOM, is that for the penalty, not that there were a lot of options.
purpleronnie Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Why did he get clapped off? we're kind.

MooseBreath Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Why did he get clapped off? Nearing the end of his career, he'll now be banned, potentially could be his last act in an England shirt.
ScouseFox Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 Why did he get clapped off? Never understood that. It's happened at Leicester a few times too (Howard vs Watford 09/10 when he got stupidly sent off and ruled himself out of one play off leg springs to mind).
Guest ttfn Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 This ref loves a yellow card. ITV commentary team is pathetic; this bears repeating.

I remember that the nearest I've come to being ejected as I had a go at those around me clapping him off, utter fools!

You could make an honest mistake, like a bad pass or miss, and get booed, yet receive a red card and more people clap?
davieG Posted 11 September 2012 Posted 11 September 2012 They seem to have perfected the art of gamesmanship or at least they're better at it than us. I repeat.
