marty78 Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Why do you even like football then? Of course we deserve it, Leicester are my team - I can't stand any of the others and I always want us to win and be top - it is our divine right as Leicester supporters to be given decent quality football played by skilled players who would give their right bollock to play for us. Granted we've a way to go to get there but why do I think Barnsley have as much right to expect this as me as a Leicester fan - they, and the other cvnts in this division can die as far as I care - we are Leicester, and we deserve delusions of grandeur - NP can fvck off he has a problem with that, he only played for shite clubs and possibly doesn't understand the concept - you should perhaps support one of them while your heart bleeds because poxy third division Hull and crappy Burnley deserve something too from our games against them. Jesus! I imagine I enjoy football more because I'm not devastated we don't win the league every year. I don't want to support another team because I support our current one and you, seemingly, don't at present.
i luv u foxes Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 if this is true which im not sure but it does seem to add up in ways i dont think the burnley result will mean much regarding pearsons fate he will be out.
Kitchandro Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 No knots little fella - Pearson did amazingly well (read it and weep) and I was gutted when he huffed off - his loss and that point ours, but the failings of his third tier boys when it came to the crunch were there to see and he fell at the last fence. He had over performed with them but they were not a great side (I know, you were moist because they won the third division, but that is what they were - third division). I dare say if Nige hadn't spat his dummy out, he may have been able to keep the momentum going but he did couldn't get anything out of them at all. Nige couldn't get anything out of Hull, or indeed Leicester when he came back - why is this hard for you? Where these failings that we failed to bribe the ref? Or that we trusted a frenchman to take penalties? We were as good, and I would say better than Cardiff over those two legs. We finished level on points with them in the league. We conceded a penalty that should never have been given when we were 3-2 up. We lost on penalties. So if so many relegation-fodder-style failings were there to see that night - you'll have to go into a bit more detai;, because to me it was fairly obvious that we were mainly unlucky, and not miles worse than a very good Cardiff side. No, you can't have it both ways. In either scenario, Pearson comes out of it with way more credit than Sven does. When you compare the money spent, the state of the squad when they each took over, the finishing position in the Championship (whether you want to completely erase the play-off season from your memory to suit your argument or not). There is nothing Sven did for this club which demands he be given more time than Pearson has had since he came back.
seenitall Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Substitute 'Redknapp' for 'Sven'. How well did that gamble turn out? Talk about delusions of grandeur - he wouldn't come here anyway - the Sven debacle means we will be stuck with mediocrity and ever decreasing circles for years to come - might as well hang on to Nige, it will possibly be worse after he goes, certainly unlikely to be an improvement

I don't want to support another team because I support our current one and you, seemingly, don't at present. I support Leicester City - that doesn't mean I have to agree with every decision the board or the manager make ever - what makes you happy at the end of a season - 15th and a pat on the back from the FFP fellas???
Kitchandro Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 And with fans who are happy with the shite we have now we're never likely to get anywhere - sorry if wanting us to do well spoils your cosy FFP restricted little mediocre world What's it got to do with the fans? The fans don't keep the manager's job for him, they can only get him sacked. I know I can praise Pearson all day and night on here, and I can sing his name at matches, but it won't stop him getting the sack. But if the owners listen to fans like you, ones who can't think like adults, they may just sack him. So know that your unrealistic and overly-demanding nature is potentially hurting LCFC.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Don't panic guys........ I received this e-mail from a Nigerian General apparantly I can get my hamds on £100000000000000000000000000000000000000000 so don't worry I'll buy the Club and start a poll to decide on my manager. Only thing I've dcided on is kelly Brook is my new PA
Corky Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Why are they more likely to listen to a negative view on a forum than a positive?? I suppose because negative people are more likely to drift away if things aren't going well, whereas a positive comment could be seen as "blind faith".

Jesus! The voice of reason and reality well said seen it all. While I agree that no one has a right to top flight football, as a season ticket holder or someone paying on the day we do have a right to expect more than mid table mediocrity from a mediocre manager and second rate cast off players. What is the point of paying hard earned cash for a ticket if the club is going to be satisfied with championship football and do nothing to change that attitude ? We do have a premiership stadium and facilities and we do have a big enough fan base for the prem that is not delusions of grandeur that is a expectation. Anyone happy with the kind of football we are currently playing are fooling themselves if they think we will get promoted this year it is not going to happen. Yes I know it's only five games in to the season but remember you can't polish a Turd.

If I had that power I would use it wisely and wouldn't have got him back in the first place.........I think it was the booing after the Millwall game that got Sven booted out and tomorrow, Nige needs to sort it out and tear Burnley a new one, because a lacklustre performance for the first half like at Wolves could be fatal. Come on you blues

Kitchandro Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Why are they more likely to listen to a negative view on a forum than a positive?? Not really on a forum. But if, in general, they hear negative comments from fans at matches or hear booing etc (and yes, if they get wind of what a lot of fans think, it's not out of the question for them to know what the majority of their customers think) it might tip them over the edge.
Happy Fox Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 If we sacked NP it wouldn't be the end of the world would it?, he has hardly been that great imo, stability is fine when you are producing the goods I am not saying NP is doing to badly I just don't feel he is right for our club our expectations are promotion if he cannot deliver that than we mutually agree to go different ways that is life, shit happens, managers do well some don't.
seenitall Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Having the same manager we started the season with would make me very happy, thanks for asking. Holloway? Taylor? Kelly? Megson? mmmmmmm wish they had all stayed too so we could sleep safe in our beds at night
indierich06 Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 That really is the million dollar question - because for me, it was working out quite nicely. Regardless of what either of us think, the board didn't think it was working. So they've tried the big-spending high risk version and showed no patience when the results didn't come. After they've changed their philosophy and gone to a manager who has a history of building up teams and buying young players with potential, are they really going to sack him and go back to the method that has tried and failed before? It's just an absolute farce.

Depends who you get in. I'm sure some weren't disappointed when Pearson went first time- look who we replaced him with. So it's not guaranteed to be successful.

indierich06 Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Holloway? Taylor? Kelly? Megson? mmmmmmm wish they had all stayed too so we could sleep safe in our beds at night To be fair, out of those four, Taylor was the only one who ever started a season with us. The rest of them were inept replacements after their predecessors had failed miserably.
Kitchandro Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 If I had that power I would use it wisely and wouldn't have got him back in the first place.........I think it was the booing after the Millwall game that got Sven booted out and tomorrow, Nige needs to sort it out and tear Burnley a new one, because a lacklustre performance for the first half like at Wolves could be fatal. Come on you blues But that's the point, you do have that power. Not as an individual, but as one of the collective masses. If they get wind that a number of people are saying they don't like Pearson they might feel under pressure to fire him. Even if you're not booing at games, you think the owners don't know what the fans' general feeling is? If it's overwhelmingly negative they'll realise sooner or later. Luckily, right now, the majority are being reasonable.
flowwolf Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 Substitute 'Redknapp' for 'Sven'. How well did that gamble turn out? Totally agree with you. I just meant that they do have a gamblers attitude so nothing would surprise me including hiring Redknapp.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 18 September 2012 Posted 18 September 2012 You want to be careful with those sort or e-mails, that could easily be Euro's instead. Damn euros over there thinking they can tell us what to do!

I think 18,000 turning up for home games says a lot more than the booing even - so yes, if it means people stay away he has a problem - but hey, wait a minute, he manages this team, perhaps he could get em playing and winning and bring a bit of pride back - maybe
