Scotland's when sung by a crowd can make the hairs stand up on my neck even as an Englishman, stunning. I love the Italian and French and never miss the Sri Lankan anthem since going there.

Seriously though, the Italian national anthem gives me chills, because when I was younger I only knew it as that song that made my grandad cry (He's Italian), I didn't really understand the relevance at the time.

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 22 September 2012 Posted 22 September 2012 The Soviet/Russian one (not The Internationale, but that is a great tune in its own right) is a true classic, however you feel about the politics of the place. I always enjoy Brazil's and Germany's anthems, but when watching MotoGP find the Japanese anthem to be so depressing.
