£7 to fit a replacement battery in bitter freezing cold in November when I was wearing a suit was a bargain.

I'm surprised that anyone even gets out of bed in England for £7.

Video game consoles (ps3,x-box,wii) are banned in China, apparently they decided in the year 2000 that they rot peoples brains and outright banned all of them, but playing starcraft for 23 hours a day is perfectly acceptable because its on a pc. I had no idea!

Censorship is a big thing in China, they also ban Facebook and MSN. Brad Pitt are also banned from entering the country!

Are Brad Pitt a big problem over there like the rabbits that went to Australia? What's the singular appellation for the genus?

Haha, he appeared in a movie called 'Seven Years in Tibet' which was about China's takeover of Tibet, As for your second sentence- I had no idea what that meant and consider yourself in 'What grind my gears' thread for causing me a headache after my futile search for the definition of genus! :P

Typing "genus definition" into google didn't work? :sweating:

ge·nus

/ˈjēnəs/

Noun

  • A grouping of organisms having common characteristics distinct from those of other such groupings. The genus is a principal taxonomic...
  • (in philosophical and general use) A class of things that have common characteristics and that can be divided into subordinate kinds.

On second thoughts, maybe "species" would have been a better word to use. :D

And head-banging, singing into the mic and air guitaring is a very poor idea (even with the mic turned off) if you're in the front studio - getting some very weird looks from passers-by.

That cats deem it acceptable to climb into bed and take up most of the room any time of the morning they wish.

You make the mistake of thinking that it's your bed, or house even. The cat must be thinking how impolite you are taking up so much of his resting space.
