Guest Posted 27 January 2013 Posted 27 January 2013 £7 to fit a replacement battery in bitter freezing cold in November when I was wearing a suit was a bargain. I'm surprised that anyone even gets out of bed in England for £7.
MrSpaM Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Video game consoles (ps3,x-box,wii) are banned in China, apparently they decided in the year 2000 that they rot peoples brains and outright banned all of them, but playing starcraft for 23 hours a day is perfectly acceptable because its on a pc. I had no idea!

Zingari Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Censorship is a big thing in China, they also ban Facebook and MSN. Brad Pitt are also banned from entering the country! You don't get to take over the world by letting your citizens read what they like or by letting them ogle Brad Pitt all day ? The Chinese ain't fookin daft
Carl the Llama Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Censorship is a big thing in China, they also ban Facebook and MSN. Brad Pitt are also banned from entering the country! Are Brad Pitt a big problem over there like the rabbits that went to Australia? What's the singular appellation for the genus?
The Blur Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Are Brad Pitt a big problem over there like the rabbits that went to Australia? What's the singular appellation for the genus? Haha, he appeared in a movie called 'Seven Years in Tibet' which was about China's takeover of Tibet, As for your second sentence- I had no idea what that meant and consider yourself in 'What grind my gears' thread for causing me a headache after my futile search for the definition of genus!

Typing "genus definition" into google didn't work? ge·nus /ˈjÄ“nÉ™s/ Noun A grouping of organisms having common characteristics distinct from those of other such groupings. The genus is a principal taxonomic... (in philosophical and general use) A class of things that have common characteristics and that can be divided into subordinate kinds. On second thoughts, maybe "species" would have been a better word to use.
The Blur Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Typing "genus definition" into google didn't work? On second thoughts, maybe "species" would have been a better word to use. No because I made a mistake of going to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genus What a rubbish definition! For the effort made by you in providing a reasonable explanation, I guess I'll let you off the gears thread for now haha.

The Doctor Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Opening a radio show with black metal really isn't good for retaining listeners.
The Doctor Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 And head-banging, singing into the mic and air guitaring is a very poor idea (even with the mic turned off) if you're in the front studio - getting some very weird looks from passers-by.
The Doctor Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 What can I say, I like my metal music. Getting really into it is an inevitable consequence.
The Doctor Posted 28 January 2013 Posted 28 January 2013 Nope, it's all in fairly normal time signatures.

Bert Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 That cats deem it acceptable to climb into bed and take up most of the room any time of the morning they wish.

Carl the Llama Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 That cats deem it acceptable to climb into bed and take up most of the room any time of the morning they wish. You make the mistake of thinking that it's your bed, or house even. The cat must be thinking how impolite you are taking up so much of his resting space.
BoneDog Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Found out that sink taps are flipping expensive. Will find out later if I can fit them without cracking the ceramic sink or not.
