kingfox Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Anybody remember this? A few of us on here mentioned it a couple of weeks back, but I couldn't find the post anywhere. It's from when Sven was on the brink of being sacked, the post will always stick out because it was flaming hilarious, so does anybody remember Ambitious and his post about Dan Petrescu? Here's a copy of a letter I sent to Susan Whelan in September this year: Susan Whelan Chief Executive Officer Leicester City Football Club Filbert Way Leicester LE2 7FL Dear Susan First of all I would like to say, welcome to Leicester City Football Club, I hope you have settled well into your new job. I am a big supporter of our Club and have supported them for sixteen years. I am writing to you regarding my opinions on the future of the First Team Management, I feel that it is better for supporters to bring their opinions and feelings to the Club's attention, rather than complaining to the media on phone ins, or moaning in forums. As you are most likely aware there has been speculation regarding the current First Team Manager's Sven Goran-Eriksson's position at the Club, there have been rumors in the press that his job is under threat, only you will know whether these rumors are correct or not. The main purpose of why I am writing to you is to bring to your attention the person who I really think the Club should strongly consider bringing in to replace Sven Goran-Eriksson, should him and the Club part company in the near or distant future. His name is Dan Petrescu and he is well known in this country from his highly successful playing career with Sheffield Wednesday, Chelsea, Bradford City, Southampton and The Romanian National Team. He is currently the First Team Manager of a Club called Kuban Krasnodar, who currently plays in the top tier of Russian Football; he joined the Club at the end of 2009, following their relegation to the Second Tier of Russian Football. In his first season at the Club (2010) he won them instant promotion back to the Top Tier, winning the Second Tier by a nine point margin, they are currently lying in 6th place in The Top Tier and looked destined to finish in their highest position ever and could even potentially qualify for Europe. Before taking on the role at Kuban Krasnador, he was First Team Manager at a Club called Unirea Urziceni, who were based in his native Romania, the Club are no longer in existence after folding in July 2011. Dan joined the Club in 2006 following their promotion to Romania's Top Tier, and they made excellent continuous progress under his reign, qualifying for The Uefa Cup in 2007/2008 for the first time ever, then the following season (2008/2009) they won the Top Romanian League again for the first time ever, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in their history. The man is an absolute genius and if given the chance I believe he could bring wonders to our Club like he has in his current and previous job, I am of the opinion that if Sven-Goran Eriksson does leave us in the future there will be no better person to replace him than Dan Petrescu, he's got highly successful playing and coaching experience, he's fluent in English, knows the English game well, knows the European game well as well and he's still relatively young for a Manager at 43 years old. I hope you take my views and opinions into strong consideration and if/when a vacancy for the First Team Manager arises, that you and the Raksriaksorn's strongly consider Dan for the role. What a legendary post, if anybody can find some other legendary posts which were just absolutely sad and hilarious please post them, apart from my victims thread please. It's International Week, so it's good to have a laugh once in a while.
Kitchandro Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Many from this thread: http://www.foxestalk...-fight-between/ Sorry mate but did you hear about Big Dean? He used to be a member of these boards, not anymore though as he's serving a 18 month stretch at Welford Road. He thought he was a big time Charlie, coming on here spouting all ends with disguised racism (in his case he never referred to anyone being a darker shade of black - so what you have done is probably worse) He got tracked down by his IP address by the old bill and look at him now, probably getting shafted in the shower as we speak all because of a post on here. I just hope you dont get reported as well or the future isn't looking great. You have to take numerous details into account here. Alleyway, skin tone, roughness of the beard. PROBABLY SAFE. POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS. SHIIIIT! RUN!
Kitchandro Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 I'm going to put the bible in footballing terms so it's easy to understand. Just imagine this a football season and God is the manager. August - FC Bible are formed, along with the universe and everything in general. Pre-season goes well; there is a division of the water and the land, creatures of the sea and air come forth and land animals follow. God makes Adam his captain and all goes well until the first game of the season against Serpent Rovers when Eve scores an own goal. It's going to be a long hard season! Sept - Following a tricky start, September proves to be a very wet month and god names Noah as his new captain. FC Bible sweep away all before them and storm into a commanding position, until new signing, Nimrod, causes much confusion in the ranks and disharmony in the dressing room. As a result, much of the team put in transfer requests and what was looking like a good team is scattered to the four corners. Oct - Now sitting mid-table, and with the lose of many players, God appoints Abram captain (though for some reason it's spelt Abraham on his shirt.) Initially there is still some unrest as vice-captain Lot shows himself up and the defence are rooted to the spot as they lose to Sodom Rangers. Abraham has to make the diffcult decision whether or not to sacrifice his son's place in the team, but it turns out to be unnecessary and he goes on to play a major role for the club. A move to a new stadium sparks a revival of fortunes and God promises that Abraham will be blessed and there is a short unbeaten run until the end of the month. Nov - A big rift between new captain Isaac and vice captain Ishmael sees the later leaving to form his own team, FC Arab. Jacob has problems fielding the right number of players as he plays 12, only to lose Joseph following dissent from the other players. Joseph throws his multi-coloured armband on the floor in disgust and leaves to play for Pharoah Argyle. This is the start of hard times again for FC Bible. Dec - With FC Bible languishing near the bottom of the table and Pharoah Argyle storming the league, the Egyptian masters come unstuck as they are plagued by problems, losing ten on the trot. The inspired decision to make Moses captain reaps rewards and God promises his team will be playing silky football flowing like milk and honey. However, due to much complaining FC Bible have a period in the wilderness and stumble to yet another halt. Jan - The new year brings fresh hope with David leading the team to a giant-killing act in the cup, knocking out Philistine United. Expectations are raised especially with the emergence of Solomon in the team, who proves to be wise head in defence, until revelations in the media about David's private life once again undo all the good work that has gone before and the team splits in two, with Samaria Town going their own way. Feb - Much unrest in the team with a host of different captains means that FC Bible plods through Feb with nothing much to report until a devastating home loss to Babylon Wanderers seems to end FC Bible's meagre hopes of winning the title. Even so, God remains optomistic and the international break gives God a chance to look through the reserves and make necessary change. March - In an unprecedented move God makes his son captain and many supporters are bouyed by this, except for Herod, who is quite upset and can be heard chanting "Satan! Satan!" from the stands. However, young Jesus proves himself more than capable and Herod is rapidly silenced. Things are so much on the up that where the stadium hospitality previously only served water, they now serve wine. Jesus leads FC Bible to score points against the Pharisees Academicals and the Sadducee Rovers and FC Bible surge up the table to become real contenders. April - In a tragic miscalculation against Pilate Romana in the cup, Jesus fields 12 men, but this is rectified when Judas is sent off for diving. It seems all is lost as Jesus is taken off with some nasty injuries that threaten to be career threatening. The cup is lost, but there's still everything to play for in the league and with Peter and Paul in scintilating form in midfield, FC Bible march on towards the title. "I'm doing this for my captain," says Paul and God says that he is confident that Jesus will play an important roll before the end of the season. May - Astonishingly, Jesus returns to the field for the final match at the Armageddon Bowl. A win over the Satan Forest (sic) will clinch the title. Some horsemen trample the pitch before hand and various beasts are put on display, leaving the supporters wondering what it all means, before the game kicks off. It turns out to be a very one-sided affair, with the Devils never in the match. Jesus lifts the trophy and God is very pleased and announces a new dawn of exceptional football. Hope this helps.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 This one from Haydos on the Maynard thread will live long in the memory. I think 78 rep points is a record as well. Hello Bristol City fans, look at your club, now back at ours, now back at your club, now back to ours. Sadly, your club isn't ours, but if it stopped being a little whiny bitch and brought in some dodgy foreign owners it could be like us. Look down, back up, where are you? You're in the King Power Stadium supporting a club your club could be like. What's in your hand, back at me. I have it, it's a transfer request from Nicky Maynard. Look again, Nicky Maynard has now been sold. Anything is possible when your club is as massive as ours. We're on a horse.

Guest Col city fan Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Still don't think you can beat 'my mates the ref'... All happened on the same day, of course and was sooooo funny!! One of my absolute faves.
kingfox Posted 13 October 2012 Author Posted 13 October 2012 Still don't think you can beat 'my mates the ref'... All happened on the same day, of course and was sooooo funny!! One of my absolute faves. He wont give us any favours but the ref tonight was my best mate as school - Gavin Ward Has been doing mainly League 1 this season so fingers crossed Is seems as though your mate was useless at football and always got picked last. However, his only way of employment from the game was to become a ref, a useless ref. What a cnut this twat is You can tell your mate he's a little cvnt who looks like a kid and is one of the shittest refs I've ever fookin seen
Fox92 Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Simmo86s post about Coventry was fvcking brilliant as well Can't find the thread though. That post is still classic, I love the "Look at the joy on tubbies face!" bit.
Kitchandro Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Simmo86s post about Coventry was fvcking brilliant as well Can't find the thread though. Cov ****** Listen Up This video above was one of the happiest days in your shitty little meagre existence. Look at the joy on tubbies face! At the time it was a very sad day for Leicester supporters, but..............it has proved to be a turning point for our club after years of dross we are now on the up again. We now have this..... this..... and this...... while you are still left with....... and..... and finally...... so continue to view the above video with happy memories but know deep down it did us a lot more good than it has you! Enjoy your big day out tomorrow, don't be scared by the size of the crowd its quite normal, but..............at 5pm please get back on your horse and cart, **** off back down the M69 and continue to tongue your sisters arsehole while on your downward spiral into the lower leagues Much love LCFC xx I've got a load of these hilarious threads on my bookmarks.
Jimothy Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 Not football related but I always remember this little beauty from Nationwider on the X Factor thread. Can't believe I can remember it from 3 years ago, but it cracked me up. What a load of fooking shit. I've just had the misfortune to witness ten minutes of this excrement before my 'opinions' got me forceably evicted from the room. Not content with listening to the worst cover version in the history of the universe, performed a gurning ladyboy who experienced some sort of convulsions or mild stroke mid-song, Louis Walsh then describes the Beatles record 'We Can Work It Out' as 'not very well known'. Judas Priest on a Shetland pony - it was no.1 in the UK and the US, you insane old twat. And them some hair-gelled 12-year-old-looking tit starts babbling on about this being his only chance of making something of his life. Before what exactly? You're forced back into underage prostitution? You have to rejoin the Angolan army? Get some fooking perspective, you soppy half-wit. Better still, go back to school (and real life) and get some qualifications and some fooking self-respect.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 13 October 2012 Posted 13 October 2012 My mate's the ref and whoever it was who posted about a "monkey's forehead" in the Crystal Palace Cheerleaders thread yesterday had me in absolute stitches all night last night.

RobHawk Posted 15 October 2012 Posted 15 October 2012 practically every post in the face of kinder thread was quality!! I think that is my favorite all time thread! Leicesterpool and his holiday adventures was funny too and not forgetting Wymsey getting a date and then disappearing for 3 months!
