She's been suspended from the party on the grounds that she isn't representing her constituents while she's in Australia.She'll still have her seat when she gets back though possibly not under the Tory whip. A lot of people were upset about it but I can't say it bothered me.

Denis McShane on the other hand was suspended from parliament for a year last week for fiddling his expenses which forced him to resign his seat. So fiddling your expenses does carry a higher penalty.
