ozleicester Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 As always December is a HUGE month. We've got some great games coming up..how many points do you think we will take from the 6 games? Derby (H) - 3pts Barnsley (H) - 3 pts Millwall (A) - 3pts Cardiff (H) - 3 pts Burnley (A) - 3pts Hull (A) - 1pt 16 points...and pretty well top of the tree COYB
Guest MattP Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Shows how important the first two games are that list. Derby (H) - 3pts Barnsley (H) - 3 pts Millwall (A) - 0pts Cardiff (H) - 1 pts Burnley (A) - 3pts Hull (A) - 0pt
ozleicester Posted 28 November 2012 Author Posted 28 November 2012 Shows how important the first two games are that list. Derby (H) - 3pts Barnsley (H) - 3 pts Millwall (A) - 0pts Cardiff (H) - 1 pts Burnley (A) - 3pts Hull (A) - 0pt Umm....... thats 10 points
pSinatra Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 I would hope for 2 home wins against Derby & Barnsley. Then it's a bit of a lottery after that. I thought I was being optimistic & I gave us 11pts
Basingstoke Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Not sure exactly how but I reckon we'll get 7 points at home and 4 away from those. I think we may well lose to Millwall if last season's game there and some of our away performances this season are anything to go by. It's a hard place to go... Plus I'll be there .

ozleicester Posted 28 November 2012 Author Posted 28 November 2012 7 points IMO. 7? i admit i tend to be a little optimistic... but only 7? not a single point from an away game?
Libertine Dream Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Its a hard month, I expect win the home games and get at least one win away, it might make or break the season
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 7? i admit i tend to be a little optimistic... but only 7? not a single point from an away game? I hope I'm wrong Oz... But I can't see us getting much from those away fixtures.
AyewJoking Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 10. Can see us coming unstuck at Millwall and Hull, a point at home to Cardiff and win the others.
indierich06 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (H) - 3pts - We really should be beating these. Barnsley (H) - 3 pts - Ditto. Millwall (A) - 0pts - You just know Millwall are going to do us, by hook or by crook. It will be a physical, ugly game. If you offered me a point now, I'd take it. Cardiff (H) - 1/3 pts - This will be a very open game and I think the home advantage will be enough to secure us a win, but I'd take a point. Burnley (A) - 1/3pts - Out of all our away games, I'd say this is the least daunting prospect - Charlie Austin is their only really threat. Keep him quiet and the job's half done. Fail to do that and we could come unstuck. Hull (A) - 3pts - the gaffer will be up for this more than any other game this season, you think he's going to accept a loss at his old club? He'll have the boys well up for this one. So I make that a tally of between 11 and 15, which I think would be a very, very good return. I'd be happy with about 10 in total though.
Happy Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Dierby-3 points Barnsley- 3 points Millwall- 0 points Cardiff- 1 point Burnley- 3 points Hull- 0 points 10 points realistically we should get anything less will be a poor return because we need to stay in contention of the top 2. On the optimism side of things I reckon we can get 12 but not expecting it.
nickelbyfox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby-3 points Barnsley- 3 points Millwall- 3 points Cardiff- 1 point Burnley- 3 points Hull- 0 points Its about time we beat Milwall at their place and I am not going to watch this year which means without me being the bad omen should do! So I am going with 13 - win the home games and grab some cheeky away points!
Guest MattP Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Hull (A) - 3pts - the gaffer will be up for this more than any other game this season, you think he's going to accept a loss at his old club? He'll have the boys well up for this one. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/15902031
indierich06 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/15902031 All the more motivation. He definitely won't want to lose again!
MC Prussian Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (H) - W Barnsley (H) - W Millwall (A) - D Cardiff (H) - D Hull (A) - W Burnley (A) - D And that's me being optimistic, even with the current record we have. We hardly ever do well at Millwall. Cardiff is a VERY tough opposition and constantly keep finishing high up in the table in recent years (still, I do hope we can beat them; a draw is just the more realistic result for me). A win away at Hull would just be the icing on the cake, remaining undefeated in December. But Burnley away with a certain Mr. Austin, who's banging in goals for fun, should also not be underestimated.
whoareyaaa Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (H) - 3 pts Barnsley (H) - 3 pts Millwall (A) - 3 pts Cardiff (H) - 0 pt Burnley (A) - 1 pts Hull (A) - 1 pts
foxfanazer Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (h)- 3 points Barnsley (h)- 3 points Millwall (a)- 0 points (maybe nick a draw) Cardiff (h)- 3 points Burnley (a)- 0 points Hull (a)- 3 points COYB!!!
FuriousFox46 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (H) - 3 pts Barnsley (H) - 3 pts Millwall (A) - 0 pts Cardiff (H) - 3 pts Hull (A) - 1 pt Burnley (A) - 1 pt 11 points
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (H) - 3points Barnsley (H) - 3 points Millwall (A) - 0points Cardiff (H) - 1point Burnley (A) - 1point Hull (A) - 1point
Fox92 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 I hope we can take 6 points from the first two games, although I don't think we will walk over either Derby or Barnsley. The games after that are tough though, especially the away games. I would take a point from Millwall and Hull, no doubt. Cardiff and Burnley will both be tough, also. Derby (H) - 3 pts Barnsley (H) - 3 pts Millwall (A) - 0 pts Cardiff (H) - 1 point Hull (A) - 1 point Burnley (A) - 1 point 9 points then.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Derby (H) - 1 point Barnsley (H) - 3 points Millwall (A) - 0 points Cardiff (H) - 0 points Hull (A) - 1 point Burnley (A) - 0 points 5 Points. But it has to be said if I ever get optimistic we are awful, so be thankful for my pessimism
