Older aged away support than most?

It's a good job Norwich don't hold the view of banning old women who make they're own food from coming to games.

Not wanting to get into a younger/older debate but i dont think the younger ones will ever, i repeat ever replicate the atmosphere, banter and original songs(which you so crave) that us the older ones used to create.Yes i have tarred the younger ones with the same brush just like you have the older fans. Not got a problem pal just saying it as i see it

Maybe it's because they don't have the chance? More expensive ticket prices, large groups of mates often unable to sit (stand) together compared to the good old days, and when they do try they're either moaned at, or filmed by the cops, slung out by the stewards and banned by the club.

Don't get me wrong there are some right morons in the younger generation of our support, but I know loads of good lads in their teens and twenties who either can't afford to follow their team, or are just completely fed up with the club's ignorance towards them and the continued obsession with the family "matchday experience".

I noticed yesturday in L K j3 full of all 16- 19 year olds, where the old crazy corner at filbo was full of blokes 25-40 much much better, so where the hell has everyone gone from the that corner at filbo??

Moved to Seattle, well I did anyway ! :scarf:

Oh my apologies for continuing to follow Leicester City what a shameless old **** I am!

That's two of us Davie my lad. Us over 60's should NOT be allowed to support an up and coming club like Leicester City. Perhaps we should go to Leicester Fosse instead?

Dear oh dear,i think sometimes you get a bit of unjust stick on here but sometimes i think you have FTT(foxes Talk Tourettes)typing before thinking, might bring some sandwiches along next time just to rile you.

I do yes. Although, in another way, we have a lot of teenagers as well. Most of our vocal fans seem to be youngsters, there's just not many 24-45s anymore.

It's because we're all broke from being taxed to high hell.

It's because of these older fans that we can brag about our decent away support to other fans and some of these fans were part of the days when atmosphere was amazing. so a lot of them don't sing and don't visibly show there passion but have been to most games for many years real fans in my book.

Yes I wish they were loud but not everyone is.

Stu I will get my miss us to make some extra sarnies for next away game, what filling do you want....can't have you miss out.

We love away days and making up flasks and sarnies is all part of the fun.

Sid and Doris Bonkers

Watch out for stu policing for 'proper'fans at the next game. He'll have you turfed out for behaviour like that!

He said he will give the sarnies amiss, but could do with a big slice of humble pie!

Some of the away trips years ago were fairly scary, you didn't feel like eating.

i agree, when i went forest away the amount of people i could see above 60, one woman had brought her own sandwiches!

****s me off big time that does.

If you've ever tried to eat or drink at The City Ground, they've always sold out 20 minutes after kick off anyway, so it's probably good intuition on their part.

As we get older our behaviour naturally changes and we all get a little bit more reserved . My Doris often used to streak across the pitch in a state of high excitement back in the day , but it wouldn't be so decorous for her these days . What with her bad legs an all. .

Yes I agree not the first thing on your mind in days gone by, do you fancy a cheese and pinion wouldn't have cut it when confronted by those away chaps.

Back then the police were always prepared to lend a little support to my Doris when she was on one of her jaunts .
