SemperEadem Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Do others feel that we have disproportionate amount of older fans and women who particularly follow us away from home? Not very scientific but when I see other away ends on tele a lot seem to me younger, more male dominated and more in the 16 - 30 age bracket than ours.
shilton_fox Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I have also noticed this especially at local derbies there is a higher proportion of elderly women, only game I remember with blokes that age in majority was west ham away last year n that was a top atmosphere
KingPowerLCFC1884 Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 i agree, when i went forest away the amount of people i could see above 60, one woman had brought her own sandwiches!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 i agree, when i went forest away the amount of people i could see above 60, one woman had brought her own sandwiches! ****s me off big time that does.
Voll Blau Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Think it's more a reflection on football in general sadly, rather than just us.
Haydos Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 ****s me off big time that does. Yeah, what *****, supporting our team and all that. Right nerve.
Kitchandro Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I do yes. Although, in another way, we have a lot of teenagers as well. Most of our vocal fans seem to be youngsters, there's just not many 24-45s anymore.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I don't understand - should you not support the team once you reach a certain age/sex? Don't see the problem in someone bringing their own sarnies instead of paying over the odds for a sh*tty processed pie. Some of you need to take a good hard look at yourselves.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Yeah, what *****, supporting our team and all that. Right nerve. It aint a soddin picnic People who takes sandwiches to football are hardly going to be the fans who vocally back their team. And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground
Kitchandro Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 It aint a soddin picnic People who takes sandwiches to football are hardly going to be the fans who vocally back their team. And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground Then the highest average attendance in England would be around 10,000 I want as many people as possible to go to the football. The problem isn't the people who go necessarily, but the ones who have been put off going.
Treacle Fox Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Don't see what the problem is. Most the younger crowd at the footy these days just sing the same annoying song over and over again. No invention. All to the tune of 'We'll sing on our own! We'll sing on our own! You're so quiet, we'll sing on our own' Only they change the words. That really pisses me off.
Haydos Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 It aint a soddin picnic People who takes sandwiches to football are hardly going to be the fans who vocally back their team. And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground You sound like a ****. Why is it your right to decide how people support their team? For all you know they've followed us for 50 years. Get over yourself.-
lestajigs Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I do yes. Although, in another way, we have a lot of teenagers as well. Most of our vocal fans seem to be youngsters, there's just not many 24-45s anymore. I noticed yesturday in L K j3 full of all 16- 19 year olds, where the old crazy corner at filbo was full of blokes 25-40 much much better, so where the hell has everyone gone from the that corner at filbo??
Deucalion Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I used to go in Pen 1 at Filbo and sing and shout all game. Now I go in the Just the Ticket seats and eat a pork baguette.
davieG Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Oh my apologies for continuing to follow Leicester City what a shameless old **** I am!

And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground You find her annoying & I'm sure she finds you annoying too. I don't think she will appreciate a pissed-up 18 year old shouting cvnt in her ear every 30 seconds
Mack Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 Note to sandwich eater haters. They've just probably had the shits one too many time from a dodgy burger.. leave the po crackers alone!

Bugg Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I sometimes take some sandwiches to avoid the rip off cost of the burgers but I vocally support the team, what does that make me?
acooling08 Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 It aint a soddin picnic People who takes sandwiches to football are hardly going to be the fans who vocally back their team. And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground Fvck me you sound like a right twat. What about the old blokes in their 80s who've been going down to Filbo for 60 years, are they not welcome anymore?
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 It aint a soddin picnic People who takes sandwiches to football are hardly going to be the fans who vocally back their team. And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground Why the fook not! You don't have to be dancing around like a tit to follow your team do ya! Some of us like to go and watch the game and sing a bit. Fookin kids...

And if you don't vocally back your team you shouldn't be anywhete near a football ground Oh my goodness. I sing at games, but I don't expect everyone else to. I love the fact that people of an elderly age still make the effort to go and watch Leicester. If you're at the age of 65+ and still find the passion to pay & watch Leicester then you're one of the biggest City fans around.
shiv Posted 2 December 2012 Posted 2 December 2012 I'm still gonna go to games when I'm in my 60s. If anyone tells me otherwise I'll smack 'em with my walking stick!
