Finnegan Posted 9 June 2013 Posted 9 June 2013 Seb is officially killing this sport. Or, at least, Adrian Newey is. They should operate a system where Adrian Newey is contracted to the FIA and has to design the car of the team that finishes last in the previous year.
Super_horns Posted 9 June 2013 Posted 9 June 2013 Go on Bottas. Shame for him he lost places at the start and didn't recover. Processional for the top 2 - bit more entertaining behind.
isaidno Posted 9 June 2013 Posted 9 June 2013 Not the best of races , some good battles for the lower points though . Mclaren were dismal this weekend
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 June 2013 Posted 9 June 2013 Looks like for me, it's a "wait till next year" kinda season. Why did we get rid of Senna?
BlueSi13 Posted 9 June 2013 Posted 9 June 2013 Looks like another cruise to the title for Vettel, and the TENTH championship winning car designed by Newey. Truly a breathtaking engineering talent, and one that Great Britain should be proud off, but boy does it make F1 boring
separator Posted 9 June 2013 Posted 9 June 2013 Not the best of races , some good battles for the lower points though . Mclaren were dismal this weekend Not a massive F1 follower but do like to watch every now and then. I still don't quite get why Mclaren are so far off the pace this season, is their car that bad for this season? There losing Vodafone as the major sponsor next season too I read somewhere so not great times for them.
Fox in the North Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Tragic accident happened during the removal of gutierrez's car. Track worker tripped and the crane driver ran over him RIP http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/track-worker-dies-in-accident-after-canadian-grand-prix-1.1318421
Amin Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Vettel has been a machine this year, I can't look past him for the championship.
isaidno Posted 10 June 2013 Posted 10 June 2013 Tragic accident happened during the removal of gutierrez's car. Track worker tripped and the crane driver ran over him RIP http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/track-worker-dies-in-accident-after-canadian-grand-prix-1.1318421 Really sad news, haven't heard who it is yet, not sure if its anyone I know. Really sombre mood amongst the guys and girls in orange today .
Amin Posted 11 June 2013 Posted 11 June 2013 Vettel has extended his Red Bull contract until the end of 2015, ending rumours of a move to Ferrari at the end of 2014. I think that probably rules out the possibility of Alonso and Vettel ever becoming teammates, which is a shame. Hopefully Kimi will move to Red Bull next year.
Amin Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Sadly, Murray Walker has been diagnosed with cancer. Apparently it was found while he was recovering from a nasty fall that he had during his holiday in Germany.
isaidno Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Very sad news is it terminal? It's treatable apparently . Murray is a real hero of mine.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 17 June 2013 Author Posted 17 June 2013 Fingers crossed. It will be a very, very sad day when he goes to the race track in the sky.
isaidno Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/22974180 It's the Mercedes / Pirelli trial tomorrow. Should be interesting
Amin Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 Webber will leave F1 at the end of this season: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/23074108
isaidno Posted 27 June 2013 Posted 27 June 2013 I put Webber in the same category as Barichello, Berger and Patrese . A good number 2 driver who is capable of a brilliant drive every so often
Guest shearfox Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Hamilton on Pole despite not being comfortable in the car, wait until he starts to really settle in
Swalker Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Unfortunately I can see the Mercedes screwing up and Vettel capitalising.
Super_horns Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Unfortunately I can see the Mercedes screwing up and Vettel capitalising. I think they will find a way - firstly Webber will probably have to let Vettel past. No rain tomorrow.
Jimothy Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Mercedes don't generally covert qualifying pace into race pace, so expect Red Bull to pick them off at some point in the race.
isaidno Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Great lap from Di Resta. Force India are good at making there tyres last, so he has a chance of a podium
