Danizen Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Almost perfect for Webber. Great drive and his best mate retires.
Guest Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Hamilton's driven brilliantly to pull back to 4th after the puncture early doors. Good day for Mercedes
isaidno Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Rosberg under investigation for ignoring yellow flags , could be stripped of win
The Horse's Mouth Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Still a place below the points Hoping for some points on our landmark but it wasn't meant to be.
Wycombe Fox Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 Did anybody spot Vettel offering his hand to Webber's Dad, who never shook it. He just put his arm around Vettel's shoulders and had a quiet word. Wonder if the word began with 'c' and ended in 't'...
isaidno Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 remember back to the US gp in 2005 when the Michelin runners weren't allowed to race because of 1 failed tyre to Ralf Schumacher . Todays situation was worse .
Danizen Posted 30 June 2013 Posted 30 June 2013 What can they do in the short time in between now and next week to sort out the tyres? Is there any precedent for delaying the race under these circumstances?
Super_horns Posted 1 July 2013 Posted 1 July 2013 What can they do in the short time in between now and next week to sort out the tyres? Is there any precedent for delaying the race under these circumstances? Was it just down to one of the curves being quite sharp (more than usual) causing the same tyre to burst?
stix Posted 1 July 2013 Posted 1 July 2013 Was it just down to one of the curves being quite sharp (more than usual) causing the same tyre to burst? From what I've read today that's a load of tosh. Derek Warwick was saying that those curbs have been the same since '09. Pirelli asked to change the compound of the tyres earlier in the season but 3 of the teams said no. It was extremely odd that it was the rear left tyre every time though.
Amin Posted 5 July 2013 Posted 5 July 2013 Mercedes one second quicker than the rest in first practice.
isaidno Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Great pole lap from Hamilton, but Mercedes really messed up with Rosberg
Guest shearfox Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Mercedes have shown they have race pace as well as qualifying pace recently. Hamilton is certainly a contender for the championship this year.
Guest shearfox Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Hopefully Lewis will have more luck this time. Hopefully, his luck as been rotten since the start of last season. But driving brilliantly and gained vital points on Vettel at silvestone.
Amin Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Yep, another great lap from Hamilton. It'll be very interesting to see how Ferrari's strategy of starting on Mediums will work out tomorrow. Also have a feeling that Rosberg could inadvertently be in a good position for the race tomorrow because he'll have an extra set of tires and that could be crucial in the hot temperatures we are likely to see .
isaidno Posted 7 July 2013 Posted 7 July 2013 British 1-2-3-4 in GP3 and a British 1-2 in GP2 this morning
bovril Posted 7 July 2013 Posted 7 July 2013 In the words of Michael Buerk on 999 - it could have been a lot worse....
