Spudulike Posted 2 January 2013 Share Posted 2 January 2013 Anybody know of any decent places to park? Bedminster cricket club is your best bet. I think it's £3/£4. Leave M5 at J19 (Gordano Services) and turn left along A369 towards Bristol. After about 4/5 miles you'll come to a set of traffic lights, left to Clifton Suspension Bridge (toll) but stay right, down the hill and you'll see the entrance to the cricket club on your left. Ashton Gate is about a 5/10 minute walk away. Easy peasy

Leicesterpool Posted 3 January 2013 Share Posted 3 January 2013 Wouldn't recommend anybody going on the train 1- no trains, 2- the ground is miles from temple meads 3) i think it's cheaper
The Guvnor Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Just bought mine online,so we haven't yet sold our initial 1500 allocation. I only have a 20 min drive, and usually park in the Bedminster cricket club car park as recommended by a fellow poster, however I drive by the cricket ground most days and it may still be flooded.I will keep you posted. LewisssH Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 there is a multistory carpark near the town center behind the theatre, I believe that is £4/5 all day parking for those getting there early, then its a short taxi to ashton gate for about £4, or walk 20 mins. not sure how much/long you can stay at the cricket club! Alexikokopops Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Love Ashton Gate. Tickets ordered, shame it has to be driven because trains are piss poor! Not ideal. They're alright for me (which is why I've decided to come along to this one) - I got a return for £16.50 from London. Anyway, just bought tickets for me, Fez and Katy. It's on. Alexikokopops Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Part timers! I looked at the games I've been to this season and I've managed Watford away (understandable), Bolton away and Burnley away. I've managed to miss Charlton and Millwall even though they're two of my closest!
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 4 January 2013 Share Posted 4 January 2013 Going this, great price for adults, would of been good if they also did 16-21 prices but U16 for the 3rd time this season for me

It was going to be knocked down a couple of years ago Edit: just found out they had 2, the one in Ealing was used til 85 then the one in Bristol was used after that

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 7 January 2013 Share Posted 7 January 2013 Is the ground walkable from the train station (Temple Meads) ? It's doable (about two miles), but Parson Street is the nearest station to the ground.

Head Honcho Posted 7 January 2013 Share Posted 7 January 2013 Is the ground walkable from the train station (Temple Meads) ? Yeh when buying your ticket ask for Parson St...........should cost the same as Temple Meads. Otherwise you'll have to buy a return £2.30 ticket at Temple Meads to Parson St. Journey time is about 5 mins.
Maybes Posted 7 January 2013 Share Posted 7 January 2013 Has this sold out? Not letting me buy a ticket online! It's a piss poor website tbh. Don't think so. They only put so many of the tickets up for sale online, usually only about 100 I think.
Mattyfox Posted 7 January 2013 Share Posted 7 January 2013 Hope it's not sold out, don't think it will be. Getting my tickets tomorrow! Confident of another 3 points!
Head Honcho Posted 7 January 2013 Share Posted 7 January 2013 Hope it's not sold out, don't think it will be. Getting my tickets tomorrow! Confident of another 3 points! Says "no more seats left for this fixture" on lcfcdirect. I only questioned it yesterday because the website is so poor but loks like it is sold out. Anyone know of a spare going please contact me.
