darko2k7 Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 So you have just started a thread to ask a question but then answered it yourself BTW
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Yes it was, Arthur Chandler's six goals is also a club record set that day, I think.
z-layrex Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 It was 13-0 against Notts Olympic in 1894 according to this: http://en.wikipedia....statistics#Wins
Libertine Dream Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 It's says in the History section. 13-0 away at Notts Olympic
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 First I've ever heard of that match. Odd.

Voll Blau Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 The record loss was apparently because one of our players had a wedding the day before so they all turned up to the game still smashed out their skulls.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 The record loss was apparently because one of our players had a wedding the day before so they all turned up to the game still smashed out their skulls. Only season we had ever had in the top flight as Leicester Fosse as well. Aye, not a great side back in Edwardian times.
Tielemans63 Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Think it was 14-0 away at Bristol City, 12th January 2013.
Fox92 Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Arbroath beat someone 36 - 0 Yeah, Bon Accord F.C
Guest Bilo Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Think it was 14-0 away at Bristol City, 12th January 2013. Record away win was at Coventry I believe, an 8-1 smashing. Doable.
Raw Dykes Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 The record loss was apparently because one of our players had a wedding the day before so they all turned up to the game still smashed out their skulls. I think you're right - they were still pissed up, but a pedant tells me it was a stag night and not the wedding itself.
Tielemans63 Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Record away win was at Coventry I believe, an 8-1 smashing. Doable. Defintely do-able. Nailed on I'd say.
chrishlcfc Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Could get a really big win today the way chris wood's going
Finnaldo Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 I think we beat Notts Athletic(?) 12-0 *Notts Olympic 13-0, FA Cup in 1894. The biggest League win was 10-0 against Pompey in 1928
