kingfox Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Guy is better than Maradona. But Beckford is better than Maradona, Messi and Pele rolled into one. But still Wood is decent
Danizen Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Guy is better than Maradona. But Beckford is better than Maradona, Messi and Pele rolled into one. But still Wood is decent Who said Beckford is 'scoring for fun', a few weeks ago? I bet he's too ashamed to come forward....
iamafox Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Best signing NP has made since bringing in Big Wes.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Scored more than vardy already I say, scored more than vardy already
Leicester_Numan Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Alright Foxes. Told you that you had signed a bargain......!! See you in the Prem. Thanks, I wish you'd put Woody as the title though. Half our lot can't get it into their heads that it's Wood not fvcking Woods
FoxyPalace.com Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Just been on Millwall and Hull forums and they are scared big time!
JonnyThrostle Posted 12 January 2013 Author Posted 12 January 2013 We had the same problem when he played for us. People constantly calling him Chris WoodS. Annoyed me but the players call him Woodsy!!
fleckneymike Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 All the players call him Woodsy. You can call me Al http://youtu.be/ULjCSK0oOlI
broughtonblue Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Not got a clue so that's why I'm asking, do the kiwis play in the southern hemisphere version of the African nations cup, are we at risk of losing him at anytime?
broughtonblue Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 His not bad for a Kiwi Come on, you should be the best person to answer my last post!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Not got a clue so that's why I'm asking, do the kiwis play in the southern hemisphere version of the African nations cup, are we at risk of losing him at anytime? Sorry hadn't seen that, no they don't.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 There was one in June last year, which was on by the footballing powerhouse that is Tahiti
broughtonblue Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 There was one in June last year, which was on by the footballing powerhouse that is Tahiti How often does it occur? Will we lose him for a few prem games next year?
Mickey O'Neil Posted 12 January 2013 Posted 12 January 2013 Alright Foxes. Told you that you had signed a bargain......!! See you in the Prem. Jonny, what's with your lot wanting Clarke out? I admit I know feck all about what goes on behind the scenes at your place but from my armchair he looks like he's doing a decent job. I know today was a bit shitty and there were rumblings about tactics, but is it that bad being a Baggie at the minute? Hope to see you in the Prem so your board can see what a mistake it was letting Wood go. Boing boing.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Lets not forget that in his 3 games for us he's faced: Huddersfield, Burton, and Bristol City. 3 very poor sides. Compared to Waghorn and Vardy, who have faced Torquey, Peterborough, Wolves, Burton x 2, Birmingham, Ipswitch, Huddersfield x 2, Barnsley, and many others, and have scored as many goals as he has in a combined 30 apperances. Don't take a genius to work out all we needed was someone to work with Nugent and put away the stupid amount of chances we were creating away. Although a lot of you seemed to struggle with it.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 How often does it occur? Will we lose him for a few prem games next year? Every 2 years i think. It's played in June anyway so wont effect us
Munshi Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 How often does it occur? Will we lose him for a few prem games next year? Steady on.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 The first game where he doesn't score, I want him leaving the club. No sitting on the bench, playing for the under-21s or loaning out. Gone! Finito!
Deucalion Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 His not bad for a Kiwi No offence intended to our marsupial cousins, but the couple of Ozzie players we have had at Leicester haven't pulled up any trees. Zelko Kalac - looked like a tree with the same positional awareness. Steve Corica - looked decent for a bit but left early for the 'big time'* with Mark McGhee. Can't think of any others. * bummed around in the second tier while we were in Europe and the Prem.
