Guest MattP Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 You mean Leeds united players? Lost me there, would have been a big story wouldn't it a group of Leeds players driving round to try and drug and rape underage girls?
sphericalfox Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 If in doubt get the pancake(s) out. It's a nice deflection when you look stupid. Which one's you?
1964FOX Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Yes and that sort of thing is generally middle aged white men isn't it? We're talking about the sort that teams up with a few mates, gets in a car with a some drugs/booze then drives arounds the streets looking for teenage tearaways to gang rape. The only thing I know for sure is that they are all sick evil bastards that should be locked up for a very long time no matter what religion or race they are.
yorkie1999 Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 You mean Leeds united players? Or your average 60's / 70's rock group!

Captain... Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Lost me there, would have been a big story wouldn't it a group of Leeds players driving round to try and drug and rape underage girls? I was going to say Brighton players, be a little more topical, but it was always the Leeds players that used go out of a night and roast some young girl. Dyer, Bowyer, Duberry all alleged to have been involved, just adding a bit of levity to the slanging match, dirty dirty Leeds. And the bit I quoted didn't mention underage only teenage

Captain... Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Bit different going out on the town to as well to turning up at the school gates. If I have to explain the joke it clearly didn't work, I've sacked my joke writer, to be fair his work was slipping of late, will be back with new material later.
Captain... Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Ok serious point time, the worry is that we will end up with a situation like black men being pulled over constantly by police it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Police profiling suggests that paedophilia is rife in Muslim gangs so you focus all your resources on finding Muslim paedophile gangs, then you will only find Muslim paedophile gangs, if you only find Muslim paedophile gangs then you will only look for... Etc I'm not saying it is not a Muslim problem, I an saying it is not only a Muslim problem, the problem arises with many perpetrators from many walks of life, it is not just Muslims and celebrities, but they make a better story.

Pretty much the point I made earlier. Generalisation of this kind doesn't do any good.

Pulling people over is a little more commonplace than finding paedophile gangs though, don't you think? I'd hope that eventually all paedophile gangs are caught. It's never going to be a case of 'oh we'll target the muslim paedo gangs and let all the white ones slip". It's much too serious a crime for that comparison to work.
BoneDog Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Bang goes the lefties theory that it is only whites who have a deep loathing for anything Islamic. It's not Islam that people hate. People who hate don't know anything about Islam, apart from maybe a few quotes, or examples of bad sheiks stirring up trouble, or atrocities blamed falsely on Islam. Easily led if you ask me. Some of them actually want to hate though, so aren't going to question too much. What they hate is things like Wahhabism, Salafists, Hamas, Al Qaeda and the like. None of these really follow Islam. Those groups' so called scholars are working against Islam either intentionally, or in some cases, unintentionally. Wahhabis were created and controlled by the British. So were Salafis. Hamas was created and controlled by Israel. Al Qaeda was created by security forces from the USA. There's a pattern emerging for anyone with intelligence. You can add the Muslim Brotherhood to that list aswell. They are just the Arab branch of freemasonry. Nothing to do with Islam. That religion has been taken over and used, just like Christianity has, but I know that many westerners don't want to know. Even when you tell them, they just come up with some more shit about why Islam is bad because of something that Hamas or the Wahhabis have done Not quite, I would imagine any religious group or race including there own would get the same treatment if they did the same acts against the Sikhs. Historically people from pakistan region have been the aggressor against Sikhs. I thought that it was the British who destroyed the Sikh empire? I may be wrong, but that's what I always thought and is why I've always found it strange that many Sikhs have such a love affair with the British establishment. On a side note, about 6 months ago on a job, I was talking to a religious Sikh. He told me that many Sikhs in his community nowadays are reet racists in his opinion (I have since heard a few Sikh radio talk shows that seem to back this up as they had some reet shit-stirring dickheads on). He told me about a couple of the early Guru's who went to Mecca, and had respect for Islam and said that this mutual respect has mostly long since gone out of the window. I know that the loss of this respect has alot to do with the history, but I don't see what that has to do with religion or nationality. It's surely politics.
BoneDog Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 The islamic peadophile groups i referred to only target non muslims, prodomanently white girls. "And Allah knows best." Ironicly, 'Allah' had sex with a 9 year old girl, he knew best HOLY F*&K! Not this again. I'd like to know how 'God' did that! You must have meant Mohammad, not Allah. Two different things, just like Jesus and God are. I've tried to explain before why the '9 year old Aisha' story is a concocted load of baloney, so won't bore people more by explaining again. She was 19 or 20 (depending on which month she was born) and a fully grown woman. And before anyone tries to continue their poor opinion by saying 'well, that's still a bit young', you're basing your opinion on most 19 year olds of today. Many hadith are not worth the paper they are written on. Blatant fabrications, but even some Muslims won't have it. Those paedo/rape gangs are not Islamic by the way. According to Islam, a rape gang is the scum of the earth. On a side note, I don't give a toss what people do with any paedo, rapist or terrorist group. Stone them to death for all I care. They'll hopefully all get what they deserve whether it be from the law, or other means.

Sorry to tell you but in general most other faiths and cultures find Islam loathsome. Because of Islam rediculous stance on insisting that it is the one and only true religion and anyone who does not believe what it teaches is a infidel and going to hell. Yes such a wonderful tolerant way of looking at life is bound to make us all want to be part of it. And I have not even touched on how muslim women are treated. I'm afraid peoples negative attitudes to Islam are brought on by the way the religion in it's portrayal and practice is shown by it's adherents.

Errrm, Isnt that exactly what Christianity has done globally for the past 1000 years ? Ive lived around alot of Muslims in life and never really had any problems, I find its normally people who havent that find them intolerable. It obviosly has alot of problems in the modern world but like everything else will have to adapt to survive, you also get nutters in any collective, its up to everyone to stop dispicable acts happening Gotta have respect for Sikhs Dont f""k with them
Rincewind Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 The former Leicester Lord Mayor is a Muslim - and a woman. That sort of invalidates Flowolfs theory.

I am not a Christian so your analogy means nothing to me. How ever I am very interested in what you mean by " never really had any problems with Muslims " ?
flowwolf Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 The former Leicester Lord Mayor is a Muslim - and a woman. That sort of invalidates Flowolfs theory. Not in the slightest, She was not elected by the general public she was elected by other councilors who just to be politically correct felt it would be a good idea to not only have a Muslim lord mayor but a woman aswell to fit in with our multi cultural society, so that sort of invalidates your theory too doesn't it.
Rincewind Posted 24 January 2013 Posted 24 January 2013 My point was that she is a Councillor working within a community that serves all religious sectors including Muslims and to date no-one has stoned her to death or beat her to death.

I'm afraid peoples negative attitudes to Islam are brought on by the way the religion in it's portrayal and practice is shown by it's adherents. Heavy on the absolutism there don't you think? It's the portrayal of them in the media that leads to most peoples negative view of Islam, rather than personal experience. And the reason for that media vilification is down to a group of a few hundred nutters using that religion as an excuse to kill indiscrimately. Do we really want to generalise an entire religious group based on the actions of those few hundred lunatics? Zealots, nutters and extremists are zealots, nutters and extremists, no matter what ideology they follow - be it political or religious. And - and this is the important part - they are always the minority.
