Double melon.

Can't believe it. He will be furious.

Thought McGinley's insight into Rory losing focus on 15 was interesting. Akshay fvcking about for 5 minutes then having to wait for 16 to clear.

Gutted for him really. Recent history says if you're not in the top 5 after day 1 you're unlikely to win it.

Bryson will need to cut down the amount of dropped shots over the next 3 rounds if he wants to get thst green jacket. Blokes ability to make birdies or better is relentless but think he needs to be steadier across the rounds to last the pace.

irrespective of where rose is or whether he can sustain this, can’t see Rory catching 4 shots on SS over the next three rounds.

I don’t blame bhatia on 15 -  the issue wasn’t  helped by the group ahead who were slow which meant the green hadn’t cleared when the group were ready to play their approaches.  Didn’t Aborg have to wait longer to make his chip whilst Rory went back the the other side of the creek to take his drop there rather than repeat his down hill chip?   it’s just what happens in a three sometimes.
add that whilst the three + minutes elapsed for bhatia to take his chip, no one bothered to mention to Rory’s caddie what cantlay had done twenty mins earlier with a similar chip?

I don't think McGinley was particularly blaming Bhatia (although 10 practice swings for his pitch was a bit OTT), more the fact Rory can lose focus when waiting to play.

Everyone knows he likes to play quickly but so does Aberg and he didn't blow up like Rory did.

I guess that's why Rory is working with Bob Rotella on the mental side of the game.

The Masters app might be the best sports app ever.

Every shot of every player in almost real time.

Amazing stuff.

The AI commentary on each player is ridiculously annoying though.

What a weekend this is shaping up to be.

I know a few have already mentioned but this really is the greatest sporting event on the planet.

Alcohol is a big part of my life (unfortunately) but I swear when I watch the Masters it’s like I forget it exists, I need nothing else.

Great viewing this especially for Europeans. With the number of wins we have on the PGAT this year, its looking Rosey(pun intended) for the defence of the RC in September.  love the Masters, but Ryder Cup is the another level.

Very good recovery round by McIlroy.

Really pleased for Rory, he could easily have gone the other way but he showed huge balls today.

Thought he'd need a 67 minimum to stay in contention and a 66 puts him right in the frame.

Still think Scottie will win though.

Crazy how Phil hit his 6 iron to 6 ft from here in 2010. Had to find this spot for a photo!
