I'm pretty certain the crowd will mostly be pulling for Rory, even given the nationalism angle. Masters fans are more savvy than most golf crowds, they know what each of them means to the game and how their conduct has impacted it. And they love a good story - look the way they embraced Sergio when he finally broke through.

That said, after 11 years of this I still dread the worst for Rory. That arrogant punk will probably pip him at the post.

Rory will consciously try to block the crowd and noise out, where Bryson will embrace it and whip them up into a frenzy.

Bryson will be high fiving everyone in sight and handing out gloves and balls to small kids - all part of his pre planned charm offensive.

The patrons will be lapping it up. Funny how most of them have forgotten Bryson took $200m Saudi blood money not that long ago.

If Bryson gets off to a hot start and Rory melts, I think the majority of the crowd will be on Bryson's side. They love a winner in the US.

I desperately hope Rory batters him but I also dread the worst.

Desperately want Rory to win, also have money on it.

However, I'm glad it's close between the two.

I love the masters more than anything but the processions of the previous year's have been a bit boring.

I want lots of drama and a Rory win

Im hoping this bites me on the arse and it’s just some internal reverse psychology going on, but I can’t help thinking that Bryson is a slight favourite for me.

3 or 4 shots and I’d fancy Rory to close it out but just 2 behind I fear the worse.

Rory will play his game regardless but we all know and love/hate that Bryson is the master manipulator, he will already know which hole’s to keep his head down, which hole’s to whip the crowd up and which hole’s to target Rory mentally whether that be by constantly yapping away or just slowing everything down.

Let’s go Rory

But Bryson by 2 for me

 “MASTERS CHEZ IZZY”

- Take (1) golf-crazed Brit.

- Rinse in the rain at Augusta National.  Then let rest a few days.  Its internal temperature will rise as the restraint begins to break down.  This may alarm the kitchen staff, but is normal.

- Add (1) absolutely prime Rory.  In a hot pan, sweat several strokes away.

- Control the heat for the next two rounds until a blinder is played.  At this point the dish may look finished, but the internal temperature is difficult to control.  All depends on the final day of cooking.

- To finish the dish, alternate between a red-hot burner and an ice bath for several hours.

Note to cooks: Unfortunately, the end result is impossible to predict.

Christ, Henni looking smoking

She's my dream woman.

The highlight of attending the 152nd Open Championship at Troon was seeing Henni

I'm so fvcking nervous.

God knows how Rory is feeling.

Me too. Desperate for him to win.

Ideal scenario is he outdrives Bryson by 40 yards on the first hole and just stares at him.

That's how to get in to Brysons head.

It's effectively match play, channel that Ryder Cup spirit and do what you need to do.
